Next, manager appears from behind and offers me a refund for the entire trip 😋😋😋 to be claimed on return at Frankfurt. I took the cheque n went and alerted my fellow passengers (Nigerians) to go and collect their own o. That's how we travelled for free 😁😁😁😁😁😁

KLM is also an EU airline so if such happens, you are entitled to compensation. I love both airlines. In fact I see them as one airline because of the way they operate here. Sometimes I go to KLM website to book a flight, I get an Air France flight. They have the best collab.

Sis you don't need any travel insurance for you to get it. You only need to ensure that you fly EU airlines especially as you live in Ame, in case the gods of flight delays and cancellations "smile" on you 😜😂 If you have travel insurance, you should chase that one with the insurance company. Though depending on the type of travel insurance, the insurance companies don't pay if the airline has paid you. But no, you don't need insurance for the one I talked about in the video.

Me neither I don't receive alerts here in Spain. If you already have an account in Nigeria, what you need is an internet log in. I used my internet log in to check if the money has entered into my account. That screen I showed last is me logged into my account. Contact your account officer in Nigeria to advise you on how to get that for your account.

I live in Spain and the currency we use here is the EURO. Euro is stronger than the dollar that's why I got more in Naira than you that sent $100. Someone sending 100 British pounds (£100) will get more in Naira than I did because pounds is the strongest of the three currencies. I hope you understand it now.

As an expert in EU air law, please read through EU Regulation 26/2004(passenger rights) on flight delay and cancellation when ever you are flying an EU airline or if your flight is originating from/to an EU country. Secondly when ever you are denied boarding on a flight due to overbooking , negotiate your compensation politely but but firmly, you will be surprised how much they are willing to offer. in 2014 an European airline offered me 600 euros for denied boarding put me on the next available flight to my destination.

Yes, it's a one way transaction because for instance, in Nigeria, CBN does not allow that. To transfer out of Nigeria you need to go through your bank in Nigeria.
