Grew up watching WJZ. So many have retired or passed on. Now Bob Turk is retiring. Now all that’s left from my childhood is Denise Koch and Marty Bass.
Congratulations mr.Bob on your awesome career at channel 13!! I can honestly say I grew up watching you on WJZ and Ive always enjoyed watching you report the weather! enjoy retirement sir!!
Back in @1973/74 a few kids and myself were walking in the march of dimes in balto and he walked w us for a while he was so nice and I always remembered that he went to autograph my mta super Sunday pass but the pen didn't work 😞
I grew up watching Bob - he's been on WJZ since before I was born! Even though I've lived far away for years, I still watch him do the weather just for the heck of it. Sad to see you go but wishing you a happy retirement!!!
