  • It was once the most keenly anticipated, biggest local race meting in Melbourne. The annual Sandown pre-Bathurst Enduro. Whether it was 6 or 4 Hours, 250 miles, 400 or 500 kms the Sandown Enduro was once a must see.
But on this, the 60th anniversary of the famous Springvale track, there's more of just a touch of ho-hum.
Can we hype it up? Let's try. Tonight we'll be joined by veteran Motorsport official, driver and passionate fan David Vernall to talk about our memories of Sandown.
Plus David will be telling us about the return to another famous Melbourne venue Calder Park.
Also we'll check out PIARC's August Access meeting and discuss just why these events are so important to grass roots motorsport.
Oh and of course live music from good friend of the show Michael Prizeman.
It's In Pit Lane this Tuesday night live from the @RMIT Media Hub in Grand Prix City Melbourne at 9PM AEST and free to air on Wednesday Sept 11 right across Melbourne at 9PM on C31 Melbourne.
