Craziest thing is, while the day statistically was very sound from Nix, our WRs left TONS of yards on the field. Can’t wait to see what happens when we finally surround him with the weapons he deserves
I agree with leaving tons of yards on the field. And I can see why people keep saying "surround him with the weapons he deserves." He does deserve great weapons. He has worked his butt off to improve this much in 8 games. But I also think that we need to have some patience with our receivers. Bo has thrown the ball 261 times (Advanced Stats & Metrics). Troy Franklin has attempted to catch the ball 23 times. Just as an example. I understand How frustrating it is when every play isn't perfect, but I like that Payton trusts his players to learn from their mistakes. That's how you develop great players, and thats how you build a team that will go to war for you. Let them learn when we're up by twenty. I think that's the difference between a Sean Payton and a Nathaniel Hackett. Thanks.
Actually seeing improvements week over week and actively seeing him address things viewers are pointing out-footwork, pocket presence-is… more than refreshing. lol
Watching this game was a treat as a Den fan. The TE involvement in the passing game, the quick decision by Nix, on time, on target. No embarrasing BOverthrows! It was one of the first FULL games I can remember, in almost 8 years, where Denver's offense was able to move the ball like a competent & confident unit. Still needs work of course. Next week at Baltimore will tell us if that will continue.
The play where you say youre not going to pretend to know, it is cover two invert with the nickel blitz. Bo takes advantage of the rolling safety vacating the middle of the field.
This is the year. Bo Nix has improved so much under this new offense. He's focused. He's having fun. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a dark horse for the Hei- ROY.
THIS IS THE YEAR BO NIX HAS IMPROVED SO MUCH UNDER THIS NEW OFFENSE. HE'S FOCUSED HE'S HAVING FUN. I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF HE'S A DARK HORSE FOR THE ROTY
Tbh your first few vids on Nix turned me off the channel but after watching your other breakdowns & how you’ve acknowledged that Bo has continued to get better I’ve become a huge fan. Great vid & thank you for the great content and most of all being a fair evaluator
@@HPRaceDevelopment more that I was concerned he wasn’t evaluating Bo objectively (based on some stuff on Broncos Twitter) but as I mentioned now understanding that he is a fair evaluator of talent I’ve come around
The crazy thing about the second drop is that Troy Franklin and Bo played together at Oregon. You'd think would be used to Bo spinning it, but he's had two go right through his hands this season (the first was a 60 dime that would have been a TD against the Raiders). Franklin needs to figure it out, because I can't imagine Payton will keep him in the game if he drops a third one as egregiously.
Thanks for being honest about Bo. I know some Denver fans might not always like everything you have to say about him, but I personally just want to know if he's actually developing and I feel you do your best to put your biases aside. Also, glad you put the trick play in so you could see Davis Webb being insanely hyped lol
KC are the champs but they rank 17 vs pass, Broncos rank 4. Bo already played against the 7th, 9th, 15th ranked passing defenses. So it’s basically comes down to the Broncos run game keeping some of the pressure off him.
Rofl...the Broncos have arguably the worst collection of skill position players of any team in the league. They are nothing like Oregon relative to their competition.
To call anyone on the panthers Humboldt is ridiculous. They had a top off player this week in Tuttle. Regained a key starter in jewell, and our #1 corner burned there's all afternoon. This wasn't a game of our skill players being better than theirs, it's gameflow and coaching.
Please, People were calling the broncos the worst roster in the league before the season. But all of a sudden they’re playing “humbolt State” funny how things change.
Well JT I have seen this movie before- in the preseason he improved his footwork for 1 game against the pack & then when the real games started totally regressed bcuz it isn't automatic for him > Mark Schlereth has a 70- 30 rule... 70% of the time if a QB wants to be a GREAT QB then you have to excel at the easy simple routine unspectacular... and then 30% of the time you need to be special... QBs that are "spectacular" more than 30% of the time are simply making it too difficult on themselves & the TEAM... it is unsustainable & gets the OL & QB injured, gets WR disgruntled & results in losing once the playoffs start... Lamar Jackson has yet to play in a SB- he may never get there- he is electric but QB isn't about flashy & electric- ask Phil Simms NYG Vs BRONCOS... or ask Trent Dilfer... or ask a myriad of QBs who were NOT spectacular but were excellent at the 70% easy simple routine... and then if spectacular happens- great but you need to live in the pocket... these QBs are NOT inventing anything new- they play QB the way alot of QBs played in the early 1900's all the way until the 1950's as the pass game starting to begin it's ascent to dominance- there is a reason those stars faded & the pocket QB & PASSING OFF took off turning into the modern game we have today... give me Jared Goff over Lamar Jackson everyday of the week... Goff will win you championships... he does the routine- superbly & that was the reason the Lions gave up on riverboat gambler Stafford in favor of him... they don't want spectacular LOSSES, they want ROUTINE CHAMPIONSHIPS! Let's face it tho- there really isn't anything easy about playing the routine & simple so consistently well against NFL DEF- so hope Goff wins another SB & maybe then GM's will realize that just bcuz someone is an amazing athlete doesn't mean they will ever excel at the QB position where your MIND is far more important than you tech & physical attributes
What about the buccaneers in tampa in your 3rd start. People don't realize the first start is in Seattle and the second was against the steelers. Week three looked good ;)

Watched all your videos on Bo this season. Great to see the things you called out are getting better.
Love the breakdown. Thank you for your work. Excited to see how Bo fares against the Chiefs defense in a few weeks.
It’s gonna be hell
lol as a Broncos fan I’m not excited about that. Really want to see him play well and keep up offensively against a bad Ravens pass defense.

You are right. It is Davis Webb.

26:34 he definitely toe tapped, he was in bounds. Saw the replay during the game

Please do Russ against the Giants
Josh Allen recap week please
The Bo Nix haters have been silent for awhile. I know he's still a rookie, but he's clearly not as bad as everyone assumed he would be.
Was basically Oregon vs Humboldt state..let's see how he does against KC

It’s a great breakdown, but against a team like the Panthers or Raiders I don’t find it very impressive.
He had a better game against the Panthers than a good amount of established QBs have.
The panthers actually have a decent Oline, not against Denver though. Run or pass.
