Captiva Osprey Nest 2024 Season - 2024 May 13th - Fishing line and CROW removal of the line

Following the devastation to the Captiva nests, the original pair relocated.
This season there is a lot of interest on the nest.
Jack and Edie - 2024 May 13th - A viewer noticed the fishing line close to the chicks on the nest. Thanks to everyone behind the scenes and CROW for the removal of the fishing line... No harm done and very swift action! CROW crowclinic.org/
Edie vigilantly protect her chicks, and Jack is close by also.

The osprey (Pandion haliaetus) here in Florida are non-migratory.
