It's like her knees are just glued to callie because they never move😂I'm so bad at keeping my leg still, deffo need to work on it especially since I'm getting a horse who is very responsive to legs in a few days😁
This makes me feel so good! It's not that I'm against tack exactly, but to me tackless is true horsemanship. The horse isn't being made to do anything it doesn't want to do, and isn't being forced into unnatural positions and movement just to please humans. The rider isn't depending on metal and rope to get the horse to do what they want it to do, they are depending on the bond and mutual understanding. It's far more beautiful to me than fancy tack and unnatural steps and extensions. better than cartoonish arched necks and frothing around an uncomfortable bit. It's what the connection between human and horse should always be. It's what's right.
You are a truly fantastic equestrian, love to watch you - you're one of the only youtubers who clearly is so professional and clued up and talented, a joy to watch, thank you!
The reason she looks more greyish in some videos is becaus she is clipped and that is the colour of her ski my horse is a compleatly diffren colour when clipped lol
Before you start riding tackless, you should be able to ride your horse without using the reins. If this works, put a neckrope on but still keep the tack on. If you can control your horse without using the tack, you can try using the neckrope only. If you can't control your horse without the reins, improvement in your communication is needed, so a trainer would be a good solution. If there is no proper trainer to take lessons from, you could buy a book and try it this way, but I would rather take lessons than trying it myself if I was you :) I asked my dressage trainer if we could do some lessons with the neckrope and it went really well, so give it a go :)
Oh and make sure that the neckrope is not too high as it can stop your horse from breathing and don't pull on it too strong as this could be hurting your horse :)
See everyone is obsessed with that other girl who jumps bareback on the yellow and white paint horse but look at these people!!!! You guys are fantastic!
Love this- I would love to try this at some point but thoroughbred withers!! And is it weird that I pause as they go over every jump just to enjoy the perfection? Probably....
I keep watching this as I'm trying to teach my horse tackless!! Did you ever have any issues with your position like at first did you find it hard to balance over jumps? x
You are my inspiration 😍😘 I am now jumping 2.6ft bareback because of how you have inspired me otherwise I would have never even dreamt it so thank you soo so much you can watch my first time jumping bareback at like 20 cm and in the near future I hope to get a video of me doing it 2.6ft. Ally I really do hope you read this so you know how much of a difference you have made to my riding and I can't thank you enough X 😊
Wow, you're better than Alicya Burton or like her, really good rider! !!!I wanna try this but my horse has no idea to bareback riding and I think she will out of control without bridle and buck me off, what can I do?
my horse is just like that, if he wants to run then he does, no matter what bit i use. (he's been a stallion until he was 6). you can start riding without saddle in a place or paddock in wich he is comfortable, so he doesnt run away, but still with a bit. when he is used to that, you can try riding with only a rope.
Am I the only one who pauses when Ally and Callie are mid flight? These two are such an amazing team!
Pony Nuts same...pause at 2:41
And pause at 2:55
1:09
Pony Nuts HEY! I do too, love your vids 💕

+Canter Leads, me too haha!
I love seeing great communication between horse and rider.

That is incredible! Your courage levels are through the roof. 😂
He looks so happy! I love seeing horses who love their job.
What do you use for your arena because it looks so soft for when you land from a jump
Its so crazy how her thighs don't even move over the fences
It's like her knees are just glued to callie because they never move😂I'm so bad at keeping my leg still, deffo need to work on it especially since I'm getting a horse who is very responsive to legs in a few days😁
Good luck! My trainer has decided that we need to start jumping with no stirrups and I have a love hate relationship with it😂
+Brenny Clare thanks!😊 yeah same, most of the time I hate it tho😂
Brenny Clare .you get use to it,like me
It makes me happy how happy you both look doing this, she's such a willing horse
Your leg during jumping is goals 💕🥺

Is Callie more brown in the summer? She looks more grayish in some videos, and brown in others.
You r a great rider!
The reason she looks more greyish in some videos is becaus she is clipped and that is the colour of her ski my horse is a compleatly diffren colour when clipped lol
