- You won’t believe what would happen if the Ottoman Empire collapsed 40 years earlier than in our timeline. This would drastically change the outcome of the First World War, due to them no longer existing as a nation.
The Ottoman Empire once controlled a large chunk of the known world. They stretched from Austria up to Ethiopia, and from Morocco to Persia. They also were very well established in 3 continents, [Continents.png] these being Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Well, typical dividing of lake Van between Armenia and Kurdistan , this is a bad quality of border actually, try avoid this and do the border on the mountains souther than the lake
i personally very disliked the implementation of ai media, it feels less genuine and very artificial in a bad way (idk thats just me buit rahhhhh)
i think the editing was fine, but the use of AI was really jarring and off-putting

Only thing I can say is infinitely unrealistic is the British allowing anyone to contest their dominion over Egypt, especially when they didn't really lose on any of their fronts and the Russian alliance is nowhere near Egypt. Otherwise not terrible, but you were extreme in the war results in general

Scenario idea: What if the Mughal Empire defeated the Marathas, thus keeping India strong enough to resist European colonialism?
Still wouldn't be close to being strong enough to beat the British Empire.

They were strong, just not *this* strong.
It wasn't just marathas that hated the mughals. Afghanis, sikhs, bengal, nepal, and deccan sultan all hated the mughals.

i feel like the new editing style could lead to something nice, but i think that especially the first parts of the video are edited way too much, though there are some good things like the highlighting of lost territories in a span of time.
i think it's a step in the right direction, but should be done less excsessively, and in a way so it doesn't overwhelm the people watching, just my opinion.
Yeah I agree with you! We made sure that the first part is the most engaging, but it maybe became over-edited and this turned people away. Need to experiment and figure out a better style

I don't think that this is an unpopular opinion, most people share this thought, together with Austria-Hungary also collapsing, even if they had won WW1

My two cents on the AI videos - yes the eyes look very disturbing and straight out of Uncanny Valley but the battle depictions are much better. And the style of editing doesn't matter because his storytelling is on point

I think Germany and Austria- Hungary would have been neutral. After all Austria and Prussia were neutral during the crimean war. Also Bismarck declared Germany as saturated and wanted to keep a balance of power (in germanys favour). I think he would be the person who would have negotiated with both factions.

You should do what if the first Saudi State was victorious against the Ottomans and never collapsed as they did IRL. IRL they did very well conquering Mecca, Medina, lands in Iraq, Syria, Oman, Yemen and as far as Persia but lost after an invasion by a massive egyptian army under the general Muhammad Ali who would himself try to rebel against the Ottomans.

That spiraled out of control real quick, tho honestly I don't think Greece of Serbia would declare war on Bulgaria if they took parts of Albania (which they did in our timeline) since Serbia didn't really care about Vardar, they just wantwd a seaport and the Greeks were already stretched thin on two continents with a massive Ottoman border that needed to be patrolled. I'm also guessing that in this timeline the allies would be ok with that.
Kind of weird how Britain got all the west African desert, but still didn’t get Nigeria. Doesn’t make sense in my opinion

I feel like the amount of expansion especially italy made into anatolia is very unrealistic
I feel like editing is really distracting, the subtitles, shakes, sound effects distract me from the scenario.
Really not a fan of the use of AI and I gotta say the overall scenario near the end is…very Bulgaria biased. I can't see Germany and Austria-Hungary joining the Russians, they'd be more likely to remain neutral and let their two enemies fight it out in a second Crimean War style conflict which Russia and her allies lose causing a need for more reform in Russia just like after the first Crimean War.
I agree with you, this scenario is 4 months old, which is before I actually got good at making videos. I should have thrown it at the bin, or refined it heavily. Now my content is actually decent and I don't commit such stupid mistakes. Thank you for the visit!

Why standing with the Entente would make France stronger is unclear to me. It seems that they may not gain anything significant from the war, and, considering that one of the main German rivals at that point was Russia, aligning with the Entente might inadvertently help the Germans achieve two objectives with one move, potentially allowing them to gain land and weaken a key adversary.

Overall, an interesting scenario, although my head canon for the alternate Balkan War does go differently.
Because Serbia, Romania, Montenegro, and to a slightly lesser extent Greece were all also allies or friendly to Russia, the priority of the Russians would be to prevent the countries in their sphere of influence to fight each other for too much of a prolonged period, hence for the sake of the Balance of Power Russia would take a backseat, but send some armaments to their preferred ally of Bulgaria.
For Italy, the gaining Tunisia, though important for the Roman larp, would not really be a ride or die sort of demand and could be satisfied by the French and British by allowing the Italians to form a protectorate over Albania, with the gain of Durrës as a treaty port if they intervene on the side of the Greeks, Romanians, Serbs, and Montenegrins.
Result, Bulgaria loses as a result of the immense pressure, losing:
Dobrudja to Romania
Parts of the Macedonia region to Serbia
Now onto Greece. Greece would carry more diplomatic weight in negotiations because of the second front in eastern Thrace that they would open by performing an invasion from the Asia Minor territories. This would cause Bulgaria to divert troops from other fronts with the Greeks, Romanians, and Serbians, then resulting in a collapse within the Bulgarian army as a result of the maintained pressure. Hence, Greek weight in negotiations would be greater and used to gain Constantinople as well as Thessaloniki and Gallipoli, with other territories such as the other northern Aegean islands of the Bulgarians being given to Greece, as well as parts of Macedonia up to Serres. Although, crucially for now, Bulgaria would retain some access to the Aegean

10:48 Why do Germany and Austria have to join. This seems like some perfect timing for them to chill out and not fight for a bit, considering niether have a lot of reasons to fight. Germany has united all of its people, and yeah the French do have a grudge on them, it isn't worth going in a war unprovicated. Their expansion wouldn't add any Germans to Germany. Austria would suffer from any more expansion, as they are already too ethnicly diverse. And at the end of the day, why would Germany and Austria go in a war to help Bulgaria. I don't see them wasting man to fight for the sake of Bulgaria. Yes they are in an allience with Russia at the moment, but I still don't see them doing it.

I disagree with your opinion, with Germany joining the Russians because of the Russians being much more powerful in this scenario as well as that germany just steam rolling france a few years ago. They would benefit more from taking over Russian land as it would make them more self sufficient and give them an empire like the french and British as well as having a trade block for recorces.Also they had otto von bismark still as chancellor meaning they would most likely stay neutral as otto didn't want German colonies until practically every great power had one.Which led up to the wvents of the scramble for africa.But since the scramble for Africa hadn't happened yet they wouldnt be able to gain necessarily any important land and the only great power they could over take during this war would be russia from taking their land as britain navy would allow them to keep the raj and their empire.But Germany could gain resources near the area of alsace Lorraine but their would be more recources in the bread basket of Europe Ukraine and trading right over Russia.
