Emily is over here trying to give a review of a product while I can only focus on her shirt. It's so pretty! As someone who's all about tie-dye I am very jealous. All the different kinds of Blues are so amazing
I explored getting these when I had an extremely picky hognose baby. I know they're an option for some, but they're ridiculously expensive & not always effective. I ended up finely mincing thawed frog legs I found at Asian markets with great success. And far cheaper. She later switched to f/t mice, and has been a great feeder ever since.
Loooove reptilinks! I use them for my hognose and get treats for my bearded dragon. Plus for those who are sensitive to looking at dead mice, these are great!
Rewatching some old videos and I finally thought to ask the question - how does Rex even know if she likes something? I mean, Emily and Ed are always so excited and saying they think she likes it but honestly, she just inhales the food 🤣
I got these for my hognose last year along with the frog juice and some for my bullsnake. My bullsnake refused to try them until I broke the casing, then he fell in love.

When I was a kid, my biological dad raised me to love snakes. We had a serpentarium in our city and would visit it often, as it was just a five or ten minute drive from where we lived. I wanted to own a snake when I was little. But my uncle kept a bunch of snakes. At first I was very excited. But then.... he let me get attached to a live baby mouse before feeding it to a snake and making me watch. You can guess how that effected me. I still love snakes but I was convinced I could never own one. This and your other videos actually give me hope that I could one day own a snake comfortably without feeling horribly guilty at watching a baby animal suffer. My gf and I were talking and she's actually on board with us own a snake one day as long as it isn't a huge one, and the idea of reptilinks makes me feel so much happier. I'm so glad I was able to find your channel and discover this!
Jeez... Like yeah, you have to be prepared for the fact that the mice (or other prey) was raised for your snake to eat but... Idk to me, it's not much diff than farming. And doesn't need to be traumatic
My ball python is so damn judgy based on looks. Like, one time my girlfriend bought pinkies instead of hoppers when he was younger and he took a look at it and refused to even strike.
I had never heard of these. I went to the website to order some and they are backed up. Literally says because of Snake Discovery viewers! Haha! That's amazing! Thanks for giving an awesome company some great business!
Your show is teaching us all kinds of food for the animals. I learned more from you then I did in school .I love to learn from you.thank you for teaching us about the difference food that they eat.
reptilinks are awesome! I have alot of reptiles, I haven't tried them on my snakes, but my bigger lizards love them! it's been my staple for my tegu and Savannah monitor.. they look so healthy! I've also gotten rid of having to have so many feeder bugs!
Rewatching this to help me determine which kind to feed my ball python (picky little thing apparently doesn't like rats, can't keep to mice forever as they're too small). Thanks Emily. So glad I remembered you made this video. Very glad you did.
Oh my gosh this is an AMAZING thing!!!! My husband is really squeamish about feeding reptiles because we're both so attached to mice, and this will be PERFECT! we eventually want a hog, so this would be incredible for the little friend, and it would be what they like to eat in the wild too!!!!!
I love the idea behind this, especially the smelly stuff to put them. Btw, my parents have had a large blue tongue living under their deck for several years who we have decided is the Snail Control Officer lol
This seems really helpful for beardies that wont eat their salad. I've known too many and even owned one myself. Practically had to force-feed him veggies.
Thanks y’all for making these videos. After rediscovering your videos this month they have made a dark time and no spring break better. I can’t wait to see y’all when you open!

Our products are hand-made to order and shipped on each Monday.” This makes me so happy!!!

I think I’m going to try these with my corn snake. I’ve never had trouble getting him to eat mice but my parents really don’t like having dead mice in our freezer so if he likes these this might be the perfect solution
You can also try getting a second hand micro fridge to keep in your room for frozen mice. If you live near a university there's usually lots of students selling them
Reptilinks are great in variety, my Colombian tegu loves it. I have tried it with my bearded dragon and blue tongue skink and they will eat but is nowhere near as enthusiastic as my tegu. I finally try it on my young hognose who decided to be picky and refuse pinkies. I got the micro frog reptilink and it opens his appetite quickly. I even bought the frog juice to scent the prey items for a few of my other hogs who were being picky and they all took to it fairly well. I love that you have the option of adding quail eggs if you want to. The only negative thing is you have to spend at least 75 to have them ship. But I have plenty of animals that I always go above that. Overall great product as it gives overall balanced nutrition.
We use the mega blend with quail eggs for our nile monitor, and the mega blend plus fruits and veggies for our tegu. Even used the frog mini links for a baby hognose and then frog juice to sent pinkies to get her onto mice and eating in general

My mom was a pet store employee so she thought she knew everything. He had no heating, 1 hide he could barely fit under, newspaper bedding, a water dish that never got cleaned bc my sis is only 10 and always forgets, and the most disturbing thing is that when they put him in there, they didnt clean the tank. there was kinetic sand all under the newspaper and spots of sticky who-knows-what. he himself was in terrible condition. he had parasites, constipation, and was teribly skinny. I begged my mom and my sister to give him to me. eventually, they said yes. btw, I live in florida with my dad and step-mom. anyways, My parents were also fine with it bc i already did lots of reaserch on snakes. So once they said yes, i sent my parents everything i will need for him. He was only a baby at this time, I think around 2-2 and a half months old. when I got home, first thing i did was set his tank up. Just a heads up, reptilinks are a lot denser than whole prey items, so you can not go by size the same as you would for a whole prey item to judge safe meal size. You need to weigh the link and compare to the prey item that is that same weight to get a feel for it first, otherwise you can accidentally give a meal size that is way too big. Something important to know if you have a snake with a regurgitation history. And yes, as mentioned, the caloric density is also higher so one must keep tabs on body condition as well when transitioning over. As for the picky eating thing; I think hognose just really like variety in their diet. Mine sometimes demands pinkies as an appetizer even though she has reptilinks as a staple. I do not feed rodents as a staple because I don't think it is species appropriate for hognose (nor are they for most Dipsadinae). I keep Dipsadinae specifically for this reason as I am allergic to rodents. Edit: Does Ed need a covid test? I hope that isn't what him not smelling the juices means.
I have an African house snake, who’s species normally eats the soft fur in the wild! Thankfully they aren’t a picky eater ( very dainty ). However since I really really love the African house snake species and hognose, I’m going to keep these in mind for future scales babies!

Why was the only thing I could think of is “Can I Eat Them?”
I thought that too 😂
Don't recommend! In the video they mention that the links include organs, bones and fur/feathers/scales!
You could with little harm but I don’t think you would like it (cooked of course)
Not all but the ones mentioned prior
Maybe with a little hot sauce?
I love how you can just hold a lizard, snake, anything in your hand, and it’s completely calm, and just chills
To be fair they have enought animals to pick chill ones in a good mood that day for filming
Seeing your reptiles gobble down this food, all I can hear is my mom when I was a kid, "There is no way you could taste that, you swallowed it whole!" LOL! Your reps, just like me, so loved what we were eating we gobbled it up! Keep up the great work! Love y'all!
Emily is over here trying to give a review of a product while I can only focus on her shirt. It's so pretty! As someone who's all about tie-dye I am very jealous. All the different kinds of Blues are so amazing
AMEN
"Ugh, that doesn't smell good....can I have one more whiff?" Emily, you are a brave soul 🤣
The last snake was so gentle it was sooo adorable to watch I was waiting for the jump scare ❤️❤️😂😂🤣
I love how dainty the snakes where with taking the links xD I'm so use to the stricking with full force every time
Those links you gave Allie disappeared like a cupcake at a toddler's birthday party.
Loooove reptilinks! I use them for my hognose and get treats for my bearded dragon. Plus for those who are sensitive to looking at dead mice, these are great!
Are they usable for a main food for hognoses? (Looking into buying them for one I'm getting soon)
I'm so glad ur carrying them I live close and will visit in the future I'm so excited
Is Raichu pan frying Pikachu while Ditto and Wobbuffet watch????? 😂🤣 edit: 🤭 Wobbuffet has a knife lol
its natural but not for raicho its cannibalism
Omg he DOES!
Why tho

@@savannahstuddard8196 it’s how Pokémon candies are made 😳
It doesn’t look like wobbuffet she got fancy hair
@@bevandarke2300 I see what you’re talking about. But that’s it’s hand doing that silly salute that Wobbuffet usually does.
Raichu’s jealousy seems to have escalated: they’re frying pikachu.... while ditto and wobbuffet bearing witness... they all seem waaaayyyyyyy too happy 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
When Emily did the smell test, it reminded me of the time I switched my answers on a test and turns out my first answer was correct.
So many times I did this, and it just made me want to give up
When I was a kid, my biological dad raised me to love snakes.
"so that is what they smell like...juiced." lol Im ded
I take care of 7 Blue tongue skinks at my college and they are so picky! But I will accept it because they are adorable.
Cuteness comes at a price!
No idea what reptilinks are but I clicked so fast
Same
Literally same 🤣
Same
Same here!
Oh
It hurt me to see Emily's face when ed says the snakes aren't at home anymore lol she seemed so excited
reptilinks are awesome! I have alot of reptiles, I haven't tried them on my snakes, but my bigger lizards love them! it's been my staple for my tegu and Savannah monitor.. they look so healthy! I've also gotten rid of having to have so many feeder bugs!
I love the plushie set-up in the background!
I like how Ally didn't even bother chewing it's just like "maneuver this so fits in throat, gulp"
The closed captions on this one were hilarious. Turns out “Reptilinks” and “Anole Juice” don’t translate well.
Had to rewind and turn on the captions. A knoll, anal, anole 😂😂😂
@@hinotefanatic aaaand "a null"
Iguana didn't translate either, a guano
Reptilinks also became rectal links lol
TH-cam’s closed captions are cursed, change my mind lol
Let’s be honest Rex is a gator and they’re meat dumpsters. There was no question she’d eat it
I think she didn't like the goldfish they caught. Not even Rex will eat just anything. :D
Well yes, but her trying to get even the little pieces might be a bit more excited lol
Found a new game to play with the friends. Try the food, smell the juice, feel the textures. I love game nights.
dont forget "smell the hole"
Rewatching this to help me determine which kind to feed my ball python (picky little thing apparently doesn't like rats, can't keep to mice forever as they're too small). Thanks Emily. So glad I remembered you made this video. Very glad you did.
Now I know why in "Sound of Music" Maria sings about "schnitzel with noodles" being one of her favorite things...this is adorable!
Thank you so much for the video! Blue beauties are so cute! I am always glad when you show them🥰
Thanks y’all for making these videos. After rediscovering your videos this month they have made a dark time and no spring break better. I can’t wait to see y’all when you open!
I wish I could show you the screen shot I took of their website!! Go look at the notice they have on the dog treats! It says....
“We are overjoyed for the opportunity to make product for you! Due to a record breaking spring surge and an unprecedented number of orders from Snake Discovery, we are experiencing a shipping delay. Our products are hand-made to order and shipped on each Monday.”
This makes me so happy!!!
I feed my tegu a similar sausage. Whole pray mixed with minerals, veggies and stuff like that. Its his staple diet, and i add fruit or veggies next to it. He is in great shape and healthy 😄. No need to buy any bugs anymore!
I know I’ve asked this before but could you do an updated care guide on African fat tail gecko‘s I have one of my own I’m just need to make sure I’m doing the care correct
I love your videos
The blue-tongues I work with absolutely love these sausages.
I love the background with the plushy Pokémon lols 😂🤣😂🤣
I can’t believe how big Rex has gotten poor baby well done guys 🥰
Up until the feathers, fur, and bones part, these things sound like they'd be great people food too.
We can digest them too as much as we avoid them. Even the organ meats. Once cooked in our case though.
I mean, hot dogs have cartilage and bone in them…and rat poop as long as it’s below a certain amount
Cat food if you use the ones without greens.
Human stomach acid can dissolve through metal so really as long as it’s cooked we’d probably be fine
You are not wrong but omg did this comment and the replies make me gag so hard.
We use the mega blend with quail eggs for our nile monitor, and the mega blend plus fruits and veggies for our tegu. Even used the frog mini links for a baby hognose and then frog juice to sent pinkies to get her onto mice and eating in general
Imagine you put this in a freezer and your family mistakes it for normal sausages XD
Well, at least they will get a healthy balanced diet.
@@laartje24 lol 😆
Ideas for the new summer menu....lol, jk
@laartje24 Full of fur and bones!
That looks like an excellent invention. But I’d worry a little about the fact that they look so much like fingers.
How do they look like fingers? I don't see it
@@brittainyellis6670 meat cylinder
@@brittainyellis6670 there was a story about a fish that divers would regularly feed hotdogs to. Eventually it bit off a thumb. And come on. Are you blind? Tubular shaped bits of flesh, approximately finger sized. Now lower your iq and eyesight to that of a reptile. It’s not a stretch to think mistakes can be made when the pet is used to eating these.
@@roccotaco1843
Oh yeah
That’s worrying lol I wasn’t even thinking that
I have GREAT experiance on the frog juice my black rat snake is wild caught and i couldnt get him to eat for a while, but then while i was shopping for new stuff for him someone reccomended frog juice, i was kinda desprate so i got it, and he ate it right away! So I, being the simple minded person i am, named him bullfrog :)
I mean great, but wild caught pets? D:
@@Apokalypse456 Yeah, sadly. my mom found him in alabama. She gave it to my litle sis who was scared of him, so he was pretty much never handled. (I was in alabama over spring break, and thats when i got him and diagnosed him) now he is in a bigger tank with proper heating, enrichment, hides, and water. as soon as his parasites go away, I want to release him. and thats the story of bullfrog :)
right when emily took off the blindfold i was like wait why does she look weird, then she put on her glasses lol, i don’t think i’ve ever seen her without glasses until today
Emily listing off the Megablend with Fruits and Veggies: "Obtuse, rubber goose, green moose, guava juice
Giant snake, birthday cake, large fries, chocolate shake!"
FAIRLY ODD PARENTS!!!!!
Yea right
(I had to finish the lyrics 😂)
I love how Emily said "All right, wanna try them?" as though she and Ed were the ones eating the frog juice and rat sausage
I can imagine someone thinking these were normal sausages and cooking them trying to eat them oh my Lord that would be very funny!
And probably healthier than most meats you can buy at the store meant for humans. XD
It's also allergy season
I have an African house snake, who’s species normally eats the soft fur in the wild! Thankfully they aren’t a picky eater ( very dainty ). However since I really really love the African house snake species and hognose, I’m going to keep these in mind for future scales babies!
i like how the alolan raichu is just cooking the pikachu while the wobbufet and ditto watch in disbelief
Emily: excited for her reptiles to test out there new dinner

I'm just picturing someone mistaking these for actual sausages 😂
I mean, quail, chicken, frog, rabbit, etc are all things people eat regularly anyways.
@@angelitabecerra Yeah but feathers, fur, and (sometimes) bone isn't something people regularly eat.
Some people do eat bones though. If they're fine enough it won't hurt you.
