Yes definitely. My dad died during a hiking trip. It was a sunny sunday in october '03. My mother, my older brother (18) and my dad (54) left in the morning and I was staying at home alone. Had to tidy my room and did not want to go hiking that day. Three left in the mornings and only two of them came back in the evening. My Brother and my Mum had to see him falling down a canyon - not possible to save him. I'm glad I did not have to experience this feeling. Later the day the Police found his body and I hope he did not notice a lot of it or any severe pains. He was hit on his head by a falling stone and was unconcious when he fell. Always difficult when loved ones die. You think that the world just has to stop for everybody - just for a minute or two. But everything continues as usual and you are trying to work through your loss and live with it.
