It's really fascinating to get to know about your culture and heritage and Rajasthan is the best place for it. That's why I have brought you this 2 day Itinerary of Jaipur which will be helpful for your next Jaipur trip.
1. How to Reach ?
- You can go by Air, Train Or Bus.
- If you live nearby or Delhi then you can go by Road as well.
2. Best Time To Visit ?
- Seasonal Months : October To March
- Shoulder Months : July, August & September
3. How to visit places in Jaipur ?
- You can take auto-rickshaw, Taxi or Buses in Jaipur.
- Ola and Uber services are also available in Jaipur.
4. Day 1 :
• Amer Fort
- It's better to reach there early morning to avoid crowd and it will take you 2 to 3 hours to visit this fort.
- Timings - 8 AM to 7 PM
- There is a light and sound show that happens twice in a day for 50 minutes.
One is at 7:30 PM & the other is at 8:30 PM.
- Entry Fee: Rs.50 per person
• Panna Meena Ka Kund
- 1 Km away from Amer Fort
• Jal Mahal
- Visitors are not allowed to enter this palace
- You can only see this palace by boating
• Chokhi Dhani
- It is a place showcasing Rajasthani Culture, food, traditions and heritage.
- You can see various dance performances, Do Camel Ride and Play Different games.
- Ticket Price : Approx Rs. 700 including food.
5. Day 2 :
• City Palace
- This place is divided into 2 sections, one is the museum and The other is the residence for royal families.
- Timings : 9:30 AM to 5 PM ( day visit )
7 PM to 10 PM ( night visit )
• Jantar Mantar
- Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
- Entry Fee : Rs.50 per person
• Hawa Mahal
- This palace has 953 windows which are known as 'Jharokas'.
- Timimgs: 9 AM to 5 PM
- Entry Fee : Rs.50 per person
- There are two cafes named wind view cafe and tattoo cafe & lounge from where you can see the view of Hawa Mahal.
• Johri Bazar
- It is the market in jaipur where you can buy accessories, shoes, handlooms, artificial jewelry and many more.
• Nahargarh Fort
- Best place to watch sunset
- It has 2 major attractions which are the Wax Museum and Sheesh Mahal
- Timings: 10 AM to 5:30 PM
- Entry Fee: Rs. 50 per person
