First you should talk about history of this place and areas around it because Amer town and fort's early foundation was laid by Meenas of Dhundar who came here before kachhwas and ruled this place till 12th century.This town got it's name from one of our gotra's kuldevi maa amba of nadhla gotra now known as badgoti of meenas
