How to Trim African Violet Plant Leaves

Ever wonder how to trim off dead or overgrown/crowed leaves in your potted house plants? Today I'll show you how I trim the leaves off my African Violet plant; the reason I trim, the tool I use, and how simple it really is.

Please help. My under leaves keep touching the pot and it always ends up damaging the stems from leaning on the siding. What should I do about that. Thank you

@john3.16-j3m it sounds like they are planted too deep, or they are in the wrong size pot. Many people though will snip off those larger outer leaves as newer smaller leaves begin to form from the inside of the plant.
