Unfortunately that is not allowed. Probably to preserve or due health as at some places the phosphor surfaces. (Only at the place we showed, which is also the only stinky place). Either way it's also better for taking pictures of course, but we would not have mind taking a swim in the river though. As for the blue water, you really have to wait for it not to rain a few days otherwise it gets muddy and looses its magic. Love the colour of the water and the pressure of the waterfall but I could imagine the smell and the humidity as we have many similarities here in Indonesia. Thanks for taking us to your trips.
It truly is an amazing place to visit! 😍 Luckily the smell is only at that particular place we showed. Although the humidity is always there. They don't rent those boots for no reason. Downside of the rain is that it makes the water less bright blue. Therefor we waited for at least 3 days of dry weather before heading out to this place. 😉 But definitely worth the wait as it's stunning and mesmerising. 😄❤️

As do we as that is the intention we had in the first place. But as long as we have to wait to continue our world trip we can indulge ourselves in this magnificent country as there is plenty to do and see here. 😄

To be honest there was a whole story about the minerals, but basically it came down to just that. However if it rains a lot, the water will be a lot less blue. We really waited for a 3 days in a row straight nice weather. 😉 I actually didn't use a telephoto lens for this occasion, we have a camera that can zoom extraordinary far. It even baffles me still although we specifically got that one for that reason. The waterfall is beautiful indeed and i absolutely agree that the railing adds perfect to the atmosphere. This truly is one of the must sees here in Costa Rica, so amazing to find that in the middle of the rainforest. 😍

It sure is! We had to wait to have a few dry days as otherwise the water ain't so blue, but it was worth the wait. Glad you found the pros & cons useful, it may help improving the overall experience. I didn't realise i was bitten al over until we reached the end of the trail. 😅 The monkey was a lucky moment, especially with the distance. More of that is coming as monkey is one thing here in abundance! 😄👍

Very much appreciated your kind words! This place is just mesmerising! So much of everything, really worth coming down here. Especially for that price. 😉 We had those rotten eggs as well in Yellowstone National Park. Awful indeed. 😵💫Luckily it was only at the place we pointed out. The climate here is great, but as it's a country with multi-climates it really depends where and when you are here. Even though it doesn't show much in the past episodes, the house and pet sit location we stayed at had 9 out of 10 days pouring rain. We really had to have all ready to shoot so when it was a nice morning or day we shot our episodes. 😂 Most yard work got done in pouring rain too. But then you leave the valley (It's situated between 2 volcanos) and the weather is very nice or even hot. Some places are very windy, others rainy and others hot enough to boil an egg on the hood of your car. 😄 When we shot this one we had a lucky 3 days straight sunshine. 🤩 Also the reason to go to Rio Celeste as the water is brighter the longer it stays dry. 😉 Thank as always for tuning in and for your support! There is a place not far from our house called Green Springs. It is a florescent green color and they dont let people go swimming. Nature is amazing isnt it. That's me on a hike through nature. So it was just me in the pouring rain... 😂😂 I would have gladly send it your way as we have never experienced such rain like here. But in the end that is what makes it all so lush green here. But you do need to have a few dry days to get the colour so celeste. It temps to rain a lot in that particular region. We have experienced that first hand as our house and pet sit location was only 15 minutes away and we have waited for almost 4 weeks for the optimal conditions. But it was really rewarding! Such a beautiful sight! 😍And yes, be happy for that "smell-a-vision". 😂Luckily it was only at that spot. 😊
Not just for the evenings, i can eat all day! 😄 But indeed its good exercise. We are not a big fan of going to the gym or hiking in our old neighbourhood to stay in shape as all is the same every day. But while travelling we can walk for hours and really enjoy it. Win-win. 😉
