Hi Alex, I'm a big bike rider looking for a small, economical town runabout. I came across this video and have to compliment you on your presenting style. You talk a lot of sense and your English is perfect. Well done my friend, excellent work. Ps. I couldn't help noticing the white Renault 16 outside one of the units on your testing circuit. Virtually extinct in Britain now. I want it! 😉
Thank you for the kind words, in the yard where we have the showroom there is also a car workshop and the owner there is into clasic cars, he has quite a few clasics here :D
The yellow switch is to disable the fuel pump. It's like a security measure when you leave it parked if someone tries to steal it they can't start it even if they have the key.
Hello Alex. Thank-you for the best Sym reviews in the world! Serious, fair, funny, amazing English, well filmed, modest, I wish I were your customer. (In France the reviews are weak, boring, useless and all about vanity). Is there a way to tell Taiwan how good you are? Does that help? Best regards, Matthew.
Hello Big man ! Did you test the Sym Symphony 125 ST 2023 ? In Spain a free Top case, free one year insurance and free immatriculation ! ST bit more expensive but nicer, I find 3.300 €... oh yes, windshield 110 € extra...Great Videos as always, good man !
Great video, let me ask you, I’m looking for a 125cc low budged and I am between this exact model and a jet 14 from 2019 (both second handed with less than 10.000km). Wich one would you choose considering they have the same price? Many thanks!!
Hi Alex, I own a Symphony SR 125 2022 for almost a year now. I'm pretty happy with it, my first experience in the motorcycle world. The only aspect that bothers me is that it's hard to see by night when there's no street lights. Do you think it's worth changing the headlights? Maybe LED light bulbs? Also do you think driving up to 100 km/h during a 2 hour ride might damage the engine?
The LED bulb you have to try it, might help might not i don't know. In terms of long distance road trip I would keep it at 90Km/h, that's where it's happy.
Hi Alex ,I recently bought a 2020 sr 125 abs with 2300km I have a concern, when it comes to start seems to need high revs to get the the clutch in drive position ,seems my neutral spectrum of clutch be a little more large ,so in practice that is that I can’t start my scooter with low throttle and revs but needs a little more high revs ,at your video yours seems a little more on the normal side at starting than mine ,other that it’s very well and decent and with 2 persons ,is that normal behavior? I’m planning also to go to store to check it ,thanks Update * I went to a sym authorized machanic and told me that’s ok,it’s manufactured to 4000 rpm engage the clutch and also to start at high revs and not slow
@@RideWithAlex thanks brother ,I’m very happy with its overall performance 🙂 and riding experience ,also with my wife and me total 155 kg we went at a very stip place here I live with ease 😊,I m very satisfied,I found it used with 2300 km Abs brake, white color with alarm and box you know at back for putting stuff at 1800 euro total price with papers in my name 🙂 and 2 months still in warranty

Hey wanted to ask your opinion for a Tall Rider. I’ve been a recent user of a Piaggio Medley that it was perfect for my size but have to sell it because of an international move. Then I bought a Honda Sh 125 which was great but too uncomfortable for long periods (if it had a plain seat would have been ideal) and now I’m moving back and to my city and don’t want to spend 3k+ buying another scooter. What are your thoughts of the symphony SR for a 190cm 105kg guy? Thanks in advance. great and honest review.
I am 105kg and 195cm. Have rented one of these for the last few days and I would say it is excellent - far better than a Piaggio Liberty and Suzuki Address that I have also ridden. One element that is particularly welcome is that even in tight turns, the handlebars do not come into contact with my knees like they do on many scooters. I was honestly surprised it was air cooled and ‘only’ 11hp - it feels much faster. It’s also great for pillion use with comfortable foot pegs. With a top box to lean on, my 180cn wife is very comfortable. I was so impressed I am now considering buying one for London use. Hope this helps!
@@renes9966 thanks for the reply im quite impress it can fit you so good and i can imagine the benefits of riding it in London. I ended finding a good deal for the delivery of the scooter from Hamburg to Gran Canaria (350€) by boat (300km ride from Berlin to Hamburg though). I will totally have the sym in my mind for the future, the features per € in 125cc scooters dont justify the huge price difference. Do i like my Honda Sh 125i 2020 yes? would i pay 3800€ for it again? no.
Hi Alex. I have the same scooter and almost had a big problem! When I start the engine, I can't turn it off. In Italy these bikes aren’t popular so I can’t find much information about them but on the Spanish market also I can see that is in the catalogue for 2021 model
Alex, what's the real reason of the disappearance of the kick starters at the 125cc - 150cc scooters?
