Thanks Vin! I've had Ardnamurchan on my radar since 2021 and I grabbed one of these CS bottles in December but I haven't opened it yet. Now you've got me rotating it to the front of the line. I may even put it in front of the Bunna 12 CS Ralfy was crowing about a couple of months back. Hope you have a great 2023!

Hi Vin….great video and so glad you love the Ardnamurchan. I was lucky enough to get their inaugural release and currently have the AD/07.21:05 or the batch 5 as some refer to it…which is easier. Not yet had the cask strength but will definitely hunt it down on the back of your video. Quite simply I think Ardnamurchan runs rings round many of the new distillery whiskies like Lochlea, Lindores, Glenwyvis etc etc. These are all still very good but Ardnamurchan has that extra in the flavour profile that we all look for. It deserves to be voted No.1 in the OSWAs…..cheers

Hi Vin, had the normal offerings from Ardnamurchan but hard to get the CS. I can actually see Ardnamurchan going the same way as springbank, the word’s getting out, everybody wants it, prices go up, hope I’m wrong, good video Vin, slàinte
I’ve had the standard Ardnamurchan for a few months and am really struggling with it. It’s so harsh and with no sign of it rounding off. Thus far I can’t understand the hype around it.
The AD/09.22 is really good, perfect peaty-salty-sherry-bourbon balance kind of thing. Knocks your socks off though, as it's quite strong. I haven't managed to try the 02.22 yet, out of stock again! Are they similar, guys?
@@mickoconnell7822 The 09.22 is cask strength too .58.4% The descriptions are different on MOM, though, so I just wondered if anyone had tried both the 09.22 and the 02.22 and compared the two. The 09 is pretty damn good!
@@MyScottyboy1 yeah I have the Cs 02.22 and its so much better than the other 4 standard ardnamurchan bottles I've had but I may as well try the 09.22 to compare lol
Glad to see you've got round to it , I'm having the exact same dram now, loved the other 4 bottles of standard stuff from these guys but the cask strength knocks those out the park, ps where was your deal from im almost out

I’ve finally managed to get hold of their Madeira cask! AD/10.22! Exceptional whisky for the price! Difficult to obtain, but if you see it get it 👍

Benromach cask strength has been filling that void for a while for me. Thankfully still available and inexpensive. Cheers

Two excellent choices, but it depends on how you feel about BIG smoke. The BB absolutely reeks but I love that about it

The 02.22 is massively different to the non cask strength stuff tbh , leagues apart tbh
