  • In this video I import a 3D model, organize the geometry, measure and start creating toolpath. Working step by step in the CAM tree to build 2D and 3D machining features. I used simulation to verify my program with solid simulation and the NC editor to visualize the toolpath operations and what the code will do.

Al that feature to extend is not included. Was happy till I seen it wasnt as it would make things much easier. SW v11 current. Glad to see your active again posting.

If you are using the premium toolpaths ( surface based ) you'll find the extend option. If you are a Mill Pro user you can just adjust your geometry. Shouldn't be to hard to do with SW, just extrude a surface and add it to your selection .

Doing great! Not only do I still get to help shops of all sizes with CAD CAM and CNC, I now have my own product line. Getting to put all those years of support to use! Wishing you well!

I would recommend it, there are many few features you'll find you love in the new software, small and large IMO it's more than worth the upgrade!
