Yes! Man we were really spoilt with the 90s UK indie and electronic scenes. It was actually possible to listen to Radio 1 in those days!

@@rorz999 Yeah, I hate that I just took it for granted with being a '90's kid' and having a dad who drove us everywhere sticking on his music (Pink Floyd, The Beatles, David Bowie, The door's etc etc etc...) when the radio wasn't playing so just thought all music was great and obviously just laughing at the cheesy music - Mr Blobby, scat man etc. The music was so great that even someone as good as Seal was probably seen as one of the cheesy ones with bands as good as The Verve, oasis, blur the cranberries, shit, I literally could make a list of bands that weren't given the recognition the length of both my arms with the smallest pen in the world and still have not named them all. This song for example, wasn't exactly a chart buster but my god would it probably break all records of the shit we have on the radio these days - Justin Beaber, Miley Cyrus and all the pop idol/x factory 'stars' who my kids have had to grow up with. We really should've kept bands like this for this side of the millennium (I know, impossible but you get what I mean?)
I was mainly into Hardcore then trance with me being at drinking age come the millennium but with being to old for those sort of "bands" I can now go back and appreciate everything I took for granted and even go as far as seeing as shit back when I was a kid and now appreciate just how good the music was back then.
Jesus christ we were blessed with SO MUCH really great bands in the UK in the 1990's that I have went back to listening to single albums back to back and never fail to be blown away. Anyway, sorry, this comment has been too long so I'll stop now and take care if you still happen to be reading. And that goes to everyone who has read this to the end. Sorry 😆

Love this! I sang along, out loud with you, smiling my head off; totally high on your reaction. 💜 I found you through the mighty Sheds themselves who also loved your reactions… made their morning they said 😍. I’ve now subscribed!
I love watching people getting off on music, on what they love and are passionate about and… I love the Sheds and this song! An anthem of my youth!
Took me right back to the last time I saw them play live (I’ve been fortunate to see them many times live)… shinny happy crowd 😉, euphoric, people singing their hearts out within a mass sea or waving arms… lead by the Pided PIper himself - The one and only, magnetic, Rick Witter!!!
They never disappoint and this song never gets old! Awesome guys… great way to kick off my Saturday thank you! I’ll be chasing rainbows for a while now. 😊😌😍
If you haven’t already check out the Stone Roses - Fools Gold, I wanna be Adored, Waterfall… you can’t go wrong they basically have their own cult following. Others to give a listen to are the Charlatans - The Only One I Know, The Bluetones - Bluetonic, Blur - there’s no other way, Levellers - There’s only one, Ride - Leave them all behind, Teenage Fanclub - The concept and so, so many awesome 90s indie bands! I wanna do a good old fashion mixed tape for you guys 😂

Great band, most of em from York. Caught em a couple times in Leeds where im from as a teen, they were damn good. My personal fav is "Where have you been tonight" but "Getting Better" and "Going for Gold" where their biggest hits i think. Loved this but I see the guy to my left really immersed himself in the song. You got it. I echo the sentiments- they were criminally underrated. Happy to see them get the recognition they deserve at long last.

Always loved a bit of the Sheds but was too young to get anywhere to see them. Finally got a chance 3 years ago at the O2 in Bristol and they were so much better live than not!! Fucking awesome.

This has always been a heartfelt beautiful song. Trying to chase something beautiful, the rainbow, but just never bring able to touch it. Such an aching sadness to this beautiful song. Now if you want another great Shed 7 song I highly recommend Disco Down!! Same great harmonies but with a slightly funkier upbeat song!!
