not realy undyne in cannon chara becomes STATS itself and asriel even with 7 souls is still bound by stats if chara wanted they could in cannon just set hist stats to 1 attack and 1 defence or heck if you go deep into the lore they could one-shot him even without doing that (say explanation if you want 1 for the one shot thing)
Because Chara are stats doesn't mean they can edit those and Chara are the stats of the human (Frisk) not stats of everyone. They said "Every time a number increases, that feeling, that's me, Chara". So that means they are the feeling of becoming stronger, no stats itself. That's how I see it at least.
@@AnthonyDT2048 fair enough but they should still either obliterate or tie depending on whether you believe chara destroyed the timeline(1contains 1 barrier) or all timelines (contains multiple barriers) (regardless they can mess with other code even setting a flag in the code and deleting all files it wouldn't be that hard for them to pull a monika on asriel and delete him.

Like for example the reset doesn't mean Frisk can revive people, they just go back at some time of time (When they fall down) and they can't control it enterely (They need to use the save points first), Chara can erase the timeline but don't erase specifics thing themselves. But anyways Undyne doesn't know any of this lore so she believed Asriel will be stronger.
