Altertale... That was an interesting au. for once gaster is back in reality, but takes the role of flowey... I had nearly forgotten how strange some of these au's got. Either way, this was an impressive video. And really well made as well.
Fun fact: Gaster's Magic is called *"Chromas"* Meaning this type of magic allows the user to use a bit of magic with each trait known. He express this magic by summoning up to seven magic Hands with holes in them (corresponding to the holes in his hands)
9:33 every boss monster seems to have a unique ability to themselves, W.D. Gaster's ability is called chromatic,which gives him access to all magic types at the cost of no mastery over any exact type
And he has 3 forms (That we know) The big hand one is Duality, (I'm guessing it's called that because no small hands but 2 big hands) The big hand and small hand one is called Polychromatism, (Which can be used without killing Papyrus like it was in this fight before he turned madster mode) His 7 small hands are his weakest form we've seen besides his normal void one and it is called Monotone. From weakest to strongest forms that we know about, 1: Polychromatism, 2: Duality, and 3: Monotone.

Gaster is said to have hurt himself with Polychromatism, because the connection of a boss monster with his son when broken (temporarily with Papyrus) returns all his power to Gaster, but since he is forcing more magical power than his body can at that time enduring nearly kills him, as to regain his 100% he must "naturally" part with Papyrus.

not to say any of you are 100% wrong but it doesn't seam like any of the things you said match up with gaster at all number1:gaster has all types of magic he is not restricted to having to use an ability to get them this is supported by the the fact that he is able to properly use each type of magic he is shown using number2:gaster doesn't have different forms unless you talk about him with his soul reformed vs him with his soul shattered across time and space and even that's kind of a stretch what your calling forms is actually just him summoning his hands and gaster blasters with various different amounts of magic and number3:when papyrus was getting hurt it wasn't cause of a special ability that needs sans and papyrus dead it was because gaster was using too much magical power even for him so his soul drained magic power from papyrus in order to keep him alive yet in the end gasters body was still to weak to handle all that magic so he dusted but that's just my opinion you can either rewatch the gaster fight with what i've said in mind or just believe your own explanation because at the end of the day your version of the character is different then mine everybody interprets things in a different way and if you disagree with the way i see the character that's fine i just wanted to share how i see things anyway that all have a nice day

When papyrus saw gaster turning to dust it was a fear sequence when he recognized the difference in power between the monster and him and gaster so it showed an image fearing they would both die when they didn’t it’s like a fear lock
no no no gaster literally dusted it wasn't a fear illusion gaster is dead dead as hell glitchtale even has the new episode after this one and gaster stays dead so he dead 100% there is no denying it

Sans is still somewhat alive because of the Determination. But I guess you could say he's still in his "Fallen Down" state. Meaning he would die regardless. I'm pretty sure Gaster even wrote it in that book of his. That's why when he was in that fight with Betty he stared melting because his time had come (meaning dying again). "Determination and monsters don't go well together." Indeed they don't.

I have a recommendation for you. I recommend that you make only one character talks after the other beacuse when they all talk at the same time there might not be enough time to respond
@@SSRSS-Ho from gaster injecting him when sans was recovering from being purified from the hate. sans died to betty but she revived him in a hate form when fighting frisk. but papyrus sorta purified him
papyrus didn't stop Gaster because his soul was breaking it was papyrus's soul that was breaking so papyrus called out to Gaster because of his soul that's why he was holding his chest
So I will edit this after I read the description but I think I understand this au, and I will see if I am right after. I think the au is like this: Frisk and Chara stay the same, Asriel, Papyrus, Asgore, and Gaster swap, (Asriel taking Papyrus's spot, Papyrus taking Asgore's spot, Gaster taking Ariel's spot, and I think that means Asgore takes Gaster's spot) Toriels and Sans swap, and Alphys swaps with Mettaton. (Still not sure about the last one but I mean based off the personality I think it makes sense) Now imma finish watching the video and read the description.
