One of my middle schools had NS's Commander 1, 2s and 3's, with BG12s and MS2's. In one of the classrooms (computer lab), the designers chose to put two AS's facing each other for some reason instead of installing one of the AS's in the corridor.
Hi FireAlarmDude5967, I am deeply sorry for my previous comments. I know that you will have a bright future and your fire alarm business will go multi-billion. I want to give you even more interactions and I would like to thank you for the useful information. I watched all of your videos and I understand now your impressive knowledge of fire alarms that is rivaled by only the inventors. I understand that you have many things to worry about in life and I do not want to be one of them. Keep up with the great work, FireAlarmDude5967. I am grateful for your TH-cam channel being introduced into my life.
Reminds me of a system I once saw at an inn on Block Island. It was an FCI FC-72 system with FCI MS-2 pull stations, Wheelock NS horn/strobes and Wheelock RSS remote strobes. It also had System Sensor 5600 series heat detectors and some kind of FCI rebranded smoke detectors.
Those are the exact same pull stations that my elementary school has, but most of the alarms were FCI horn/strobes. There’s one System Sensor SpectrAlert classic in the cafeteria, and a Wheelock AS in the library
Around 2013 when I first moved to the area. strip mall right across the street from my high school i later attended had the NS/MS-2 setup inside the Pet Supplies Plus, Panera Bread, & the Korean market. The Korean market still has this set up. The Pet Supplies Plus moved in 2018 or 19 to a strip mall ½ a mile west and it has Spectralert Advances with fire lite BG-12s. The old space became an auto zone with spectralert L's, and i THINK they kept the MS-2's. The Panera Bread moved to a new town about 3 miles west, and that has L's & BG-12s. The old space became a bar and i assume it still has the same devices. The strip mall also had an Aldi & a Dollar Tree with advances and Gamewell labeled BG-12s
where I went to middle and high school we had these devices. and where I now work as a middle school night custodian, the middle school which got converted/renovated from the high school we still have these when it became the middle school these devices are extremely loud and high pitched. at the new high school they have ones that ding (chime) 9 times and play a message which is significantly quieter then these. and don't blow out your ear drums!
Gosh. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a fire alarm video. It feels so good watching one again.
Same 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
SAME HERE
rare moment of me finding a railfanner on a fire alarm video
0:01 those look really good on those backboxes! They fit perfectly!
I've been waiting for this! Also that Air fryer tangent was just perfect

Wheelock NSes are great alarms, they’re very loud. Nice video as always!

My name is Gage and I'm expecting a fire alarm in every month the 20th video soon

Love it! These were the first alarms that I ever heard.
Congratulations on your 7k subs! You've earned it. Nice setup btw!.
Awesome test today. Like the AS. Keep it up.
3:51 if that was still a wiremold Backbox with command strips it would not be able to handle an MS2 getting pulled lol
And I think you should get a stopper for the garage pull station it would look cool and fit it
I love these system tests it gives me something to look forward to
They are definitely the kind of the fire alarms at my middle school that I used to go to
Those are the exact same pull stations that my elementary school has, but most of the alarms were FCI horn/strobes. There’s one System Sensor SpectrAlert classic in the cafeteria, and a Wheelock AS in the library
Wheelock Ns Are My 2nd Favorite Fire Alarms . My 1st One Is Gentex Commander 3
These are my favorite horn strobes because they don't sound too ear piercing and not too obnoxiously loud
Your videos are wonderful, and interestingly loud. Your house is wonderful, it would be a shame if it was destroyed. Keep it.
Again, I don’t plan on destroying my house. Thank you for the comment.
@@FireAlarmDude5967 Always keep it. I love the design, yes, I love your fire alarm videos and your explanation video or videos. Cool.

Ooh nice video. Cool devices you chose! ever gonna switch to addressable?
Maybe some day
You should add a alert speaker strobe to the garage
I had an idea for next system test. Wheelock AS’s on code 3 California Code
I want to hear the cover monoxide one with the yellow strobe
My elementary school had Wheelock NS's, with a conventional simplex panel and simplex T bars
my middle school has this exact system, same pull stations and same alarms.
Weird seeing a NS with a strobe because the apartment I live in has them without the strobes and the halls have the AS series
How come the NS’s still flash when silenced when they’re 2-wire divices? Is it because of the sync protocol?
Selective silence
@@FireAlarmDude5967 gotcha
NO BRO IVE SEEN THESE A BILLION TIMEA
Did these ever transmit to a central station when it was installed in a commercial building?
Probably
Wish I wouldve known that little trick for the MS-2 months ago, because my key got eaten by it LOL. Now it's stuck on the wall.
Never seen a ceiling mounted NS before
Can you do a EST Genesis Horn/Strobe for the April system test?

if you could flush mount the devices, it would be a really clean system, it isnt bad right now and i still love it!
True, I think as long as the devices are mounted on corresponding boxes it looks clean as is
Were they on high or low volume
Low
6:56 7:20 NS and MT!
11:29 they died for a second haha
😅😮look really good on those back boxes 📦 I think he should
Nice videos
I like synchronization
Hi Just wondering is it unhealthy to not flip the switch in those fci ms2s??
I don’t usually flip the switch and I think it’s fine
Thanks
5:20 that door over there just really closed
5:07
Love the system!
Can you do a EST genisis alarm
Already did
@@FireAlarmDude5967 not the integrity
@@Grassblock557 also already did those
@@FireAlarmDude5967 I just watched it NVM
Same thing as my school pool station and file line
My old school has those.
Nice video
10:49 You just could have used the lighter
These are my school fire alarms 2:10 2:10 2:10 2:11
What does NS even mean
It’s a model
@@FireAlarmDude5967 but what does it stand for
@Rat-34 not sure
@@FireAlarmDude5967 I'm pretty sure MT means multitone
Awesome!
Is That a real fire alarm
It’s a real system but it doesn’t dial to a fire department
add a EST eg4 se led speaker strobe
Look at the newer videos
Nice
👍
My elementary school had wheellock NS ceiling mount
