TH-cam just recommended me this again... When i first saw this video I was overweight.. 5ft 10 and 115kg ( 253 lb )... among other things, this video was a great, but more importantly, realistic motivator for me... since then ( 3 years ago now ) ive lost 80lb, run a marathon, climbed mountains, biked across my country... my life has changed for the better. im 37 now and I feel 27, and look a hell of a lot better than when I was 27... So... Thanks for sharing man, your video helped me a lot.
That's the phrase that helped me to stay in keto , i started on January 13 , and id lost 55 lbs ...now is so much easier , food is not that important anymore , but when i started , that phrase came to my head every time i was feeling sad for not been able to share with people.. , everything makes sense when you think why im i doing this ,, just remember where you where and where you're going.. just that
Meade Vlog channel he wasn't implying that. A lot of excess weight usually ages a person, because it hides their physical features. You see that a lot in big weight loss transformations
Yeah, right. Looks great and so much younger. So many absolute idiots that have argued with me in other vids in the comments saying that when you loose weight you end up looking older. So stupid. That's one of the excuses that fat people tell themselves to not loose weight, just one of the petty ones. I know because I also used to be obese, so I know how fat people think.
I love rewatching this video periodically as it blows my mind how weight loss has transformed this man’s face and the image he presents. He looks younger and stronger. It is such an encouraging video to motivate someone seeking to also change their poor habits thereby changing their world.
I’m 16 year old boy from the UK, I have been overweight my whole life, I’ve been very insecure about my body and it has affected my childhood deeply, I tried to lose weight multiple times but could never stick it. This video has given me serious determination to forever change myself physically and mentally, your about to change my life❤️
Eat less, train more. Simple as that. When training feels like suffering, remember this: you'll suffer anyway. The only question is how. You can either suffer the pain of discipline, or suffer the pain of regret. I'll leave it up to you which one hurts more.
I saw the determination in your eyes when you were talking...... Your force was very strong. . Thank you brotha.... I'm 295 pounds and in great depression, I just want to feel that drive you feel..... peace
You should consider bariatric surgery. I lost 80+ lbs 3 times in life but always regained it. Sometimes that's how life is. Try bariatric surgery it is something that seems to work for me.
You can do it. Don't give up if you have setbacks. Some progress is always better than no progress! You don't need surgery, it will just be another obstacle.
seen a couple dozen transformation videos - this one stands out. You recorded yourself from the get-go. right away, curling 15lbs, covered in sweat and fat - and SHOWED THE WORLD. Going for a walk is never about JUST WALKING to lose weight, walking is about having conversation with your partner, getting some fresh air, sweating to remove toxins from your body, meditating and reflecting, etc... People who can't lose weight have attached NEGATIVE association to healthy eating and exercise (and as far as negative association to life itself). Videos like this is what motivated me to get going. I’ve lost 50 lbs since the beginning of this year. My wife and kids have never seen me look like this. There really is no other secret than to make it a daily quest to keep after your goal. Thanks for sharing this
Awesome! I am doing mine for myself but also to be a good example to my kids as you said. I don't want to be the dad who tells them how they can do it, I want to be the dad who leads by example and inspires them to be active and happy. So thanks for the inspiration!
"I am so much happier now than I was 3 months ago" that sounded so genuine and warm. You did an excellent job and I believe you've inspired many people out there. Good luck sir. Peace from Australia.
In January of 2019 my wife of over ten years left me when she got involved with drugs. She took the kids. I made excuses was overweight, homeless, no job & miserable. I got in shape, out my life in order & got custody of the kids three months later may 2019. Im proud of you, videos like this helped pull me out of the gutter.
It is disgraceful that women are given custody of children by default, when they are nearly always the responsible partner in a breakup/divorce. I'm really happy that you found your happy ending bro, and I hope that it gave you strength and endurance to face the challenges ahead as well.
Very inspiring :) I went through the same journey in my younger years . Went from from 120kg to 60 kg , and at the end of it , it was the same realization ,:DO MORE OF WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY " . It has nothing to do with losing weight or getting shredded at the end , it is about being happy :)
I actually Googled the *2WeightLossFast. Com* and it seemed like a good idea to try it. After i tried this diet plan, this wasn`t long before I began shedding bodyweight! My mate tried this guide and shed 10 pounds!?

Under my personal control, my student lost 103 kg of excess weight (from 230 kg to 127 kg) in just 8 months !!! And in parallel, this result, which has no analogues in the whole world, was achieved by increasing the overall strength and endurance of his body !!! I clarify: during 8 months, no one else in the world has managed to lose 103 kg of excess weight and at the same time acquire excellent sports form !!! I offer you a telecast (sorry, not in English), where from 6 min 31 sec those moments, when he was 230 kg and when he became 127 kg are shown: th-cam.com/video/FJSDuSNVeYc/w-d-xo.html&t= 386s I also offer additional video, the so-called. "way to 127 kg": th-cam.com/video/wx32leriZaw/w-d-xo.html
Wow, an actual inspiring success story on TH-cam that isn’t selling advise or a program, just good old hard work leading to results! Go figure ! Great job; like a new man!
The biggest thing was that body fat percentage!! 34% to 9%!!!! That’s beyond incredible wow you should be so so so proud. And I love how you also called it a mind transformation, because it really is ALL about the mind and then the body follows
Jessica Y I have found it to be the adverse. train your body and your mind will follow. the most disciplined I have ever been is when I'm doing a workout regime. when I am not it is so hard to muster the "do it", "make it happen", "get up one more", thoughts. its hand in hand. but people can will they're mind all day long you won't have the right thought pattern in the first place if your not eating, sleeping, working out right. while they are entangled and do snow ball effect. if you want to achieve any kind of success, physique, happiness, start with training your body don't try to muster inner strength that's not there yet.
In 2020 I lost 100 lbs and went from 265 to 165. It was the best feeling I ever had in my life. But after a while, I gained it all back, plus more. Last week, I weighed in at 278. I'm starting another fitness journey, and I will lose 100 lbs again.
@Turkeyrolls. Similarly, in 2021, I had the longest stretch of gym attendance ever: 8 weeks, and I was down to 200 pounds. I lost that momentum and will lose the weight I put back on again. Now back to you: How are you progressing this week?
You have done it before, you can do it again. Once you hit your target goal, you will have to put in some strategies to keep it at that level... good luck.
His “Secret”: Consistency. The graph shows he did not lapse really but kept up his diet and excersise routine consistent over long time and stuck to it.
The best mindset is to not think of this as a destination (ie reach a certain weight number) but as a journey. There's no "destination" in being healthy. You do it for as long as you are breathing.
I’m sore from yesterday’s workout. Down 13 pounds from a month ago while in a whole food lifestyle change. Doing push-ups while watching this because this is hella inspiring. Crush it y’all!!! Do what makes you happy!
It’s called envy, some people want their lives to change but are too lazy to put in the work, then they see this man’s results and just hate, ignoring the fact that he earned it.
Don't think that way. Positive videos on youtube have a thumb down average somewhere around 11% to 14%. This guy manages to get 1,5% to 2% which is truly amazing and beautiful.
Dear Natalia, I appreciate your comment. Looking 20 years hardly matters if other limbs of the body don't work to prove its worth of 20 years age . 😊.🌷
Amazing transformation... I remember starting my own, about a year ago as well. I got a diet plan from site Next Level Diet and started doing some exercises at home. My sister was making fun of me, thinking I will give up. But day after day, meal after meal, I managed to do it. I lost 80 lbs thanks to my diet and dedication, and I'm feeling a lot happier now. I can finally tie my shoelaces without holding my breath 😀
I have just watched this again about 18 months after I first saw this. I did watch this video a lot when I started my journey but now being nearly 40 kgs down and very gym fit I wanted to watch it again. To the person that made this video, I thank you so much because this is what changed my life, after seeing this I got a personal trainer, lost the weight and now live feeling happy every day because I’m more comfortable in my own skin. I still struggle with the diet and I know it would be easy to go back. But one year on and feeling and looking as good as you do, thankyou, I never would have changed my life if you didn’t do this video. The most poignant thing you said was “I’m so much happier than I was 3 months ago” I have been able to experience that thanks to you . Keep on being inspirational
I think no one paid attention to the "mind transformation" he mentioned in the description. The fact alone that he liked himself way more, felt proud and competitive, makes all the effort worth it. Not to mention the body-drug called endorphines that is produced and makes you a lot happier when you are doing workouts and the real satisfaction you get from watching yourself evolve and become BETTER day-by-day.
I can relate. The one thing I realized was my impulsivity, and the mental tickle of clicking the mouse and buying a stock. Learned to wait wait wait for a compelling low price and reason to buy the stock. Rarely do you miss a stock that shoots to the moon, and the boat you just missed might just sink. So be patient. This is my most important investment lesson. About losing weight and putting on muscle, Its hard for this 68 year old to find a work out partner to help with the discipline and routine.
I fought so many times to do this. I played football and baseball and even track and field throughout high school and college. My point is my weight did the same until now, I just wanna say great job and keep motivating! I happy to say I’m down from 387 to 338 lbs since March of 2019. I’m going to pushing for 265lb
My birthday is on July the 7th and I decided to workout until its July. Then I'll check what progress I'm gonna make. EDIT: I know nobody will see this, But 2 months ago I weighed 144.8 pounds and now I weight 132.4 Glad I saw all these journey videos of people working out.

Great job, awesome story. I love how you walked us through the timeline. You are an inspiration. In 2017 I weighed 240 lbs, even though I had been active all of my life. My BP was 150/110, cholesterol 248, was having warning signs of metabolic syndrome and stroke. I went to see a nutritionist and she gave me the tools to manage my caloric intake and control my portions. I went from 240 to 190 in 6 months and I have kept it off for 5 years. I never realized how lousy I felt until I stopped overeating and felt so much better right away. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. 👍👍💪💪
Awesome to hear you lost the weight in just 6 months, but even more awesome to hear you were able to keep it off. I've found that keeping the weight off is the hard part for me. I'm about to get back to being healthy. Hopefully i can keep it off this time.
Am very impressed by the word " am happier now " its 1st of jan 2019, now am 114kg , same body fat as yours sir. i come back on 1st of july with 80kg of weight.
I was 6’3” 290 pounds on 1/2022, 233 pounds today 8/22. Probably got 30-40 more to go. Biggest realization is that 95% of the time I though I was hungry it was just boredom or stress. Cutting out stress, walking 4 miles a day, and cutting out most fried foods and anything high in oil/mayonnaise has got me where I am. 9 months for 57 pounds isn’t very aggressive but it’s a whole lifestyle change to be a healthy stress free person where weight loss happens to be the result. You can’t keep living like a fat person and exercise and also lose weight.
What you've done is amazing. I'm sure it wasn't easy. I'm in a weight loss journey myself. I don't talk much about my weight to anyone really and people who aren't over weight don't really understand it. My heaviest was 285 pounds I'm 5'7. I once lost 18 pounds and gained it right back. So far with what I've been doing has worked. I haven't gained any weight at all since I started. It'll be 6 months that I've been working on my health. Videos like yours are truly an inspiration

Yeah, right. Looks great and so much younger. So many absolute idiots that have argued with me in other vids in the comments saying that when you loose weight you end up looking older. So stupid. Losing weight is never about losing the weight.
Losing weight is all about mindset. Get the right mindset and the weight melts away forever.
Congrats.
great work
If you dont eat snickers quickly it melts away forever......:'(
What do u mean with mindset??
@@TheBandiidoo
Mindset = The way you think about things.
You shouldn't be THINKING of losing weight. You should be THINKING about how JUNK FOOD destroy your health and the planet. You should be THINKING the positive benefits of exercise and whole food. You should be THINKING that exercise is NOT WORK, but PLEASURE to get some fresh air, enjoy the planet and it's scenery.
You will walk a million miles, through hell and back, to see/visit a love one. You will never do such thing for someone who you hate.
Do you give a shit/love about your body/temple or you don't?
Do you give a shit/love about your family and love ones or you don't?
Because if you do, then you look after it... If you don't, then you destroy it... The only difference is the mindset of whether you give a shit or you don't.
A positive and healthy mindset is never overweight. If you're overweight, you have a hidden psychological issue that needs to change. Our lives are merely a byproduct of what goes on inside our minds, whether you can accept it or not.
Jane Smith many thanks for your clarification, salute ✌️

Am very impressed by the word " am happier now " its 1st of jan 2019, now am 114kg , same body fat as yours sir. i come back on 1st of july with 80kg of weight.

All the best
Good luck. You got this!
good luck bro
PLEASE take selfies regularly. I want to see the transformation! And GOOD LUCK. YOU CAN DO IT!!👍👍
It was extremely generous of you to share your journey.
This video is so motivational. So I decided to change my life, to get fit and work hard . So far I have lost 100 days . Never give up
Did you lose any weight with those days?
305MOG
lol
I don’t have a weight issue, but seeing these people transform themselves inspires me to adopt a healthier lifestyle
It was a video that stimulated me who became complacent. I can't imagine how many hardships you've overcome. It's incredible and I respect it. After watching this video, I decided to start working out again.
wow. he looks 15-20 years younger. amazing!
Ruth Steiner so true
He doesn't even look like himself. Or he looks like who he really is! Inspiring 😊
. Maybe it's a different guy
Yes, isn't it amazing what weight loss can do for you!
😅🤣😂 he only looks 20 years younger if u thought he was 70 years old when he was overweight
"The strongest people in the world are those who know and accept their weakness"
Hell yeah!
Your profile pic say desu or des which means nothing on its own
(Pro tip) Use kanji so weebs can't read it
And tsu tsu doesn't really work it should just be tsu in "kishitsu desu" not tsu tsu
E. i rest my case
Supposed to be doing homework acting like imma get in shape
Turns out you did neither of those things xD
Filipe Costa 😂

The struggle is real
@@bennerosen4549 I fast 24 hrs a day 1-2 days a week, is this effective
That message, holy crap. and I know exactly that feeling of "this time is different", because I am in the same path. Currently lost 20kg and finally reached 20% of BF ( was 35%). Goal is 10-12%.
Keep going bro! You got this!

yes, that would be 4 kg weight loss per month. that's ridiculous... You'd have to eat basically nothing throughout every day, a whole year through
@@vincemiller9914 When I joined the Army I dropped slightly over 50lbs in 4 months to enlist. I did pushups, situps and ran (or at the beginning a Jog that resembled walking) 2 miles a day. In an attempt at portion control I ate only 2 lean cuisine dinners a day (which was on average 600 calories or under total) and maybe a bag of light popcorn in the evening (about 300 calories) if I was really hungry. So generally, under 1000 calories a day. When I started I weighed 240lbs at 6ft tall. I weighed 186 at weigh in at MEPs 4 months after starting. Obviously that diet went out the window once I was in, but I PT'ed so damn much my weight stayed down regardless of what I ate. However when I got out of the Army I didn't exercise anymore but ate like I still was, so here I am, back where I started lol.
@@tsdobbi yeah, I did a mistake. I have mistaken weeks for months. I remember to lose a kg a week when I don't check my diet
Still my favorite weight loss video. Inspirational, relatable, no BS.
I started at 292lb now I’m at 202lb. I’ve got another 52lb to get to my goal weight
how long do you spend in the gym
Mohammad Jaafar I spend at the gym 1 hour sometimes I’ll spend a hour and a half
@@marcelinorodriguez7628 that's great kindly share with me series of exercises you did am starting today. Thanks
Mohammad Jaafar most of my exercise is weight training, chest press, shoulder press, lat pull down, rows, curls, squats, and to get my cardiovascular better the last 15min I ether do the Elliptical machine, stair master, or the treadmill at end of all my workouts
@@marcelinorodriguez7628 Thanks man.... Keep on Going
