Family member went through the process discribed by you,unware, that the respondent had been prosecuted by the Garda Siochana several years earlier,in a court unknown,judge unknown, decision unknown.

I was knocked down while crossing the road.....the Sargent said at the scene .....not as bad as it looks...I was unconscious.....she covered up the accident for him.....didn't send file to DPP.......the person who knocked me down called into me ten days later.. from what he said to me. He must have been stalking me also harassed me ..... reported it to gardes..... nothing done.... My solicitor had to write to the Sargent twice...for his name address and insurance details.... photos that were taken at the scene by someone in a car were produced about 4. Weeks later....it was only then he admitted liability.....rang that Sargent 13. Times .....left my number eAch time....no reply......not a word from her in 2 years.....

Question.......if the person who knocked me down has admitted liability.....if I settle out of court.....will the person who knocked me down be prosecuted
