Great show Crista. Just an FYI in regards to the quality of a grave marker as a source. It is not unheard of that bodies were moved, this is probably old hat in your research. Also often times the deceased were memorialized on the family marker even though the individual may have been buried elsewhere. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Crista, when was the headstone placed? It could have been placed many years after death.

I have a brick wall my ggreat grandfather was in the fenian raid he was born in 1820 Jefferson County NY and he married Nancy Huff born btw 18124-1833 Sophiasburg, Ontario i found on a website that they were married in 1847 Lyme NY other then that i can't find their parents at all, any idea what i can do to break this brick wall? His ancestors possibly are from or fought in the American Revolution. He did move to Ontario in 1871 and i have all his kids that are from Canada i have asked in the NY facebook pages and 1 person came up with an argument of his parents but not sure how that works? any help would be greatly appreciated :)
