To me as long as the mod boss is balanced with its progression, Thats good enough. Really love the modding community. Extra points for those with lore and fun content with innovative design, great video btw this has much effort and research.

I recently did a Calamity/Redemption mod playthrough, and along with King Slayer III, Omega Obliterator was the one that actually made me feel alive again. 10/10 experience!
A little upset that Yharon's phase 2 music wasn't mentioned, it sounds absolutely epic and when you really look in depth at the lyrics you can see exactly how amazing it fits into the lore as well as the truth behind some of the words. Although I suppose the fact that there was an amazing pixel art of Yharon in the Yharon arena makes up for that

My favourite boss is the grand thunder bird since its fun the boss theme goes so hard and the entire time it's just rly fun attacks + it's not hard so it's just a vibe

Any of the split mod bosses, especially Seth. His sprite is cool, the attack patterns are fun. the only issue i have is the insta kill heat snaps attack is poorly telegraphed

I feel like ecipixie was one of the best on this list, it's such a tightly woven boss fight, it's not hard borderline bullet hell, it's not something that requires a ton of dying and redoing to understand the moves (with the exception of maybe the one where they split into two) and all in all it almost feels like a good substitute to empress of light for modded terraria for me.
I agree their visuals are godly, but when you analyze the fight deeply, the mechanic is way too simple to be considered amazing. I look more towards gameplay and prioritize visuals less and gameplay wise Split Mod bosses have A LOT of flaws.
That one guy if he existed, who wasted 200k attempts to defeat Yharon: Finnaly, after 2 f*cking years I beated him! Earned PTSD, and was not worth it though... Challenge is 375/20, Design is 39/40 and enjoyment is -1/40. (Throws PC out of the window) (Insert a joke about "The fight you cannot win" here)

I think Seth is possibly one of the worst I've ever fought which is interesting because I love Split's other bosses. They have such interesting and fun mechanics they play with, and obviously have excellent spritework. Seth is the one exception to the "fun" part, all because of one attack (anyone who's fought him knows what I'm talking about): the solar rays. One shot hits are simply. Not okay. Sure empress of light daytime blah blah but that's not like, mandatory? Seth is one of the main bosses of the mod and isn't in any way optional if you want to experience Split mod to its fullest. The rays just suck all the fun out of the fight (which is basically everything but that one thing) and not only make it extremely hard but incentivise the player to do lame things like just running away from it or using multiplayer and long range weapon cheese. Actually sitting there dodging the insane hitboxes is too high skill to warrant instant death for failure. The other ones I think are genuinely very unfun are all the Stars Above bosses except for own whose name I don't remember. Vagrant of space and time maybe? It's the one that puts you in a box, that's pretty fun. All the others are very unorthodox and not in a good way. They use mechanics that are both unexplained and often confusing (looking at you ink witch) and honestly they're all so rng dependent that fighting them feels like roulette. sometimes you die for seemingly no reason, sometimes they're actual baby mode. Warrior of light (final boss) is one of the easiest bosses I've ever fought and yet sometimes it still just unexpectedly one shots you. There's no in between. You either completely wreck them or just get bodied out of nowhere. It's such an oddly unbalanced feeling for terraria bosses to have Shoutout every calamity boss ever for being awesome except deus in multiplayer may God have mercy on its broken code

I would probably put providence and calamitas (normal one)/slime god for yharon's spot but Yharon's fight is still fantastic no complaints here
