  • A Kannada language folk song written by the 18th century saint poet, Saint Shishunala Sharief, who was a saint poet, philosopher and social reformer from the state of Karnataka in India. His compositions of tatvapada are in Kannada language. Sharifa is recognised as the first Muslim poet in Kannada literature.
    A crowd favourite sing-along song, Lokada Kalaji, literally translates to the “worry of the world”. The poet says to the reader, you want to worry about the whole world, and I am not one to stop you, please feel free to worry. But know, that worrying by itself doesn’t help anything.

    I'm a Marathi speaker living in Karnataka for a while. I realised so many words r similar in both d languages. For example d title of d song "काळजी" is same in Marathi
