The Romans named Judeah , “Philistine” to spite the Jews and then Yasar Arafat, an Egyptian, started calling the Arabs in that region “Palestinian” in the 60’s to gain support and claim victimhood against Israel, whom they kept attacking but lost. It’s a scam.
Yes Palestine is a made up word. They have no Palestinian coinage, no archaeology history, no flag before the 1960s, and no distinct culture from other Arabs . They speak Arabic like all other Arabs and they are just Arabs with a different name tag.
