Oh my goodness!!! I've just logged on to this for the big reveal and tutorial . . . . Only to find that I am a winner!!! 😲 Thank you so much Diane 💞 . . . . and congratulations to Connie 🙂 XX
Thank you for another inspiring tutorial ❤ I truly enjoy visiting you from far away. I'm from South Africa and the materials you use are not so freely available here. You opened a new world for me.
Not only do I love your paintings and tutorials, but that box is gorgeous! ❤ Since retirement, I’ve been able to appreciate the birds in our yard. Your birds have inspired me to try watercolor again
I think those huge chunky plant pans are fun! It’s like those giant chess boards in the park people play. If you have 3 primary colors you can mix for ever! Congratulations Connie and Wendy !! XXOO
Paul Rubens giant sized pans sound like something I could have with a few basic colors. Love the little tin. Enjoy watching and listening to Diane everyday. 😊
I love love love your colloquialisms. I watch almost exclusively British tv. Plus classic novels are the best. Your loose, fun style has helped so much.
Congrats to the two winners! Diane, I watched your tutorial on how to paint feathers. I have been obsessed ever since. I've painted so many dang feathers I'm even dreaming about them. I was out for lunch yesterday and all I talked about was feathers............Anyways, lovely tutorial and to Paul Rubens I would not be interested in the large blocks of paints, they are just to big.
Yes, but they are planning to release a range of 100 colors in those huge sizes, and I’m not sure anyone has enough space to store them or work with them… very different approach!
To use the pad and keep the paper in the book: you could paint and thoroughly dry the paper, the separate the two long sides and one short side. Flip the painting to the side and do the next, the next and so forth. If the glued side is strong enough, then you can have the paintings stay in the lovely cove. Don’t know if it would work but just an idea.
It’s fascinating how effortless the leaves are formed with just the right brush stroke. I also had not seen watercolors in tubes before … guess I have not been watching your channel consistently enough. I appreciate your comments about freeing up one’s creativity by resisting the temptation to copy someone else’s work which is always what I do. Now I must try to break away from that tendency.
Congrats to the winners. Concerning the large nap of paint, I don't think you can ever finish it in a lifetime if you just use it on your paper, maybe try to colour your house with it haha. Those brushes would be great to play with. And again thank you Diane for this hour of just listen en look at what you do, always very nice.
My goodness, a wealth of treasures from Paul Reuben. The small pan is great. IDK about the big pans. Maybe would be great for grandchildren. Congrats to the winners.
Another DAS masterpiece! It's wonderful you encourage us to watch and then paint our own painting, not just copy what you've done. This painting would make a lovely card. Thank you!
Congratulations to both winners, ive been useing paul Ruben's paints for a few years now, their definitely some of my favorite and preferred watercolours...
How refreshing to hear that a Company I buy from actually listens to their customers. I love the tin of beautiful paints. The large paints would be difficult to travel with but the color looks luscious. You made me laugh, Diane with your commentary. Hugs. Phyliss
Thanks for making our artist lives a little brighter, Diane ❤ I've never tried Paul Rubens as a brand but all their products present themselves nicely.
Congratulations to the winners! I bought a couple of the Paul Reubens blocks with the fancy hardcover and wondered the same thing myself. Why? You don't want to throw away something that nice! I did come up with a use for the hardcover, and that's to store and protect my paintings until I frame them or give them away, or archive paintings that aren't so great, but you keep them to see how you've progressed over the years. All the paintings from the block can be stored, protected, archived in the hardcover that the block of paper arrived in. I use the black cover sheet to separate my paintings from the block. So far, I think Paul Reubens only makes hot-pressed paper, which is great for watercolor with mixed media and for gouache. I look forward to your opinion on the Paul Reubens hot pressed paper once you've had a chance to experiment with it.
Congrats to the winners!. Your additional line-work is right on the spot with your art work. I don't know when to stop and sometimes over do it. To me it is difficult to control that. In my mind it is adding "just one more line"! Thank you for what you do.
It's been interesting trying to do this August challenge....I still like doing abstract and floral items..thank you so much Diane..for being a REAL LIVE artist!!!!
Hi Diane! That Paul Ruben’s gift box looks SO fun! Those giant sized pans. Oh my😂 I have the Meliang 24 palette, the PR professional pink palette and PR paper! Very nice products at a decent price. Love the pretty bird and how you flawlessly paint those leaves. You make it look so easy. The black marker and other markers towards the end really took it up a notch❤️
Hahaha I laughed so hard when I saw the Paper Block inside that beautiful sturdy cover hehe 😂 Love your vidéos 😊 Contrats to the Winners of this week! ❤🎉
Lovely bird tutorial, it really does add depth to the painting adding the low and high lights. Congratulations ladies winning the lovely giveaway. Very generous of Diane once again. I had some fabric nearly the same as that pretty box. Almost Jacobean style.
Dear Diane, what a great in-depth video . I never get tired of watching and listening to your tutorials , reviews , stories, some informative, some tragic ( Monsieur Remmi) 😢😔 and some downright hilarious 😂 😆 I try to never miss a single minute xx
Well done to the winners of the giveaway. Good luck to everyone in the latest giveaway. I would use the large pans if they were in my favourite colours but I love the half pan sets more!
Thank you for all of your tutorials. I love following along as you make decisions and paint. I watch them through and then I watch them again and paint with you. This one was especially fun for me.
Nice of them to send you this! I'd love to try out a brush. I have Paul Rubens Opera Paints and I really like them. My green was broken open and dried up but it still works. Thank you for your review!! I LOVE listening to you and painting with you... as always! =)
Nice box design but don't need fluff and extra packing to discard. Just good quality products at fair costs. Thanks Diane for the giveaway opportunity and review and pretty tutorial.

@DianeAntoneStudio Wow! That's a lot of big pans! My big questions; are they ceramic pans and do they stack. After that I would look at the price. ❤
Thank you, Miss Diane, for your generosity today. Congratulations to todays winners, and good luck to everyone for todays goodies.

I don’t think it would be strong enough glue to hold it together for long Sue. Seems like a pity doesn’t it!
Congratulations to the winners and good luck to all entering the next contest!
I learn so much from your tutorials, Diane! I so enjoy watching and listening to your videos and love the sounds of all your animals, so peaceful...

A Stiff drink after a painting is well deserved.
I like a stiff drink before I paint lol

The large paint pans are adorable-don’t know how I’d ever use that much color! Very unique!

Congrats to winners. Paul Rubens are very useful products, love the big pans
I admire and appreciate your honesty about products when you review products! Thank you
If i were a dedicated primary color painter, i would be interested in the large primaey color pallets. But I love using additional options.
Congrats to the winners!. Your additional line-work is right on the spot with your art work. I don't know when to stop and sometimes over do it. To me it is difficult to control that. In my mind it is adding "just one more line"! Thank you for what you do.

lol should read because of your tutorials! There was no abuse! Sorry
I’m impressed with the Paul Reubens line. I’m leaning toward the smaller pack of paints over the giant assortment though.
