Well Japanese players have always gave troubles to western players since their styles are so much different and use different characters,like Megaman, Duck hunt, Villager, etc
Tiramisu #1P4PGOAT NA only loves rushdown characters (Pikachu, Wolf, ZSS, joker) or very safe zoners (snake is impossible to combo with grenade, for example). Japan finds very good characters that NA overlooks because they don’t fit that archetype. Duck hunt is largely written off because he is slow with a bad disadvantage.

I feel like DHD just has to work so much harder for everything than other campy/projectile characters (especially snake). Thats why I can't help but root for raito and his games are never boring for me.

I really wanted to lose to switch (I didn't want to switch earlier because what if someone wanted the runback). I eventually lost, but geez, Duck Hunt is mentally draining sometimes. I really like just switching characters more than sticking to 1 character. But... I can't drop DH. That's the main there, and that's smash 4 loyalty now.

switCh SSB people still hate joker pikachu and inkling because of there ridiculous combos, neutral, kill confirms etc. it’s common hating top tiers because of there viability and u need to play 10x better to actually try and beat them. I get ur point that people hat duck hunt because he is campy but I’m just trying to say that people hate all top tiers aswell.
