Thank you! If you're curious, for science, I'm 3/4 with a G11 Iden (also R1 GI) using this method. Yes I will continue to work on them both but also evidence that high relics are not necessarily required.
There are a couple of guys who still put Dorito in their starting lineup in my arena shard and I find it takes two licks to get to the center of a Tie Dorito. That said, the Tie Dorito fights seem to be easier. They don't gain the turn meter they do with SAss fighter. I'll record one next time I face it.

That was excellent. I had a little trouble at one point, but still pulled it through even after losing my cap ship because only dorito and mk6 were on the field. Thanks for the video!
I’ve been using this for the last 3 or 4 days and it works against 7* with dorito or sith fighter in the starting line up… still win sometimes (75%) if they get their ult. No additional relic levels on chimera (thrawn r6) gi 5th r7 vader r7 tie defender and interceptor r3/5 respectively. No additional relic levels on these enemies.

I failed miserably when not 1-shotting Sass, but I’ll try again with your tips. Small things like using the AoE might tip the balance.
Try to use a basic on bomber with TIE Fighter then use TIE Advanced to kill the fighter. Might have more success
i rarely see that starting lineup ,i see evertime (almost) Dorito instead of Sith Fighter

G12 Iden can get taken out with the swarm attack.
Also, if Tie Pilot is weak, just attack the bomber to avoid triggering the taunt. Then use Vader to one shot Sith fighter.
The Vader trick doesn't always work, just FYI. You can put yourself in some pretty deep water attempting it, but it can also be effective at times.

What determines if Tie Defender reduces TM? It does always knock it down and then the number of buffs that scythe displaces drops by 2-3.

Just want to say thank you for this. Been devastating to my fleet arena since I can't get Levi to max stars for a few months. I'm about a month away from GI and Scythe is waiting in the wings for that so I am taking notes so I can return to the top of my shard.

What relic level do you recommend for each ship?
Just used the counter against s dorito lineup, and it worked out just fine even though I messed up the first move with Tie and used basic instead of special.
Tie even one shot the dorito in the same fashion that your counter did the sith fighter.

It is mind boggling how every time CG creates strong fleet, everyone is so happy and then realises that you will have to mirror match all those "amazing" fleets! A day ago, upgraded sass, malgus and marauder to r8 and it didn't do shit to counter in mirror's. So now im upgrading Chimera fleet. Profundity works, but there are days ehen I can't win at all 🤷
@Xaerth what are your GAC thoughts since this fleet is a combination of the Profundity and Executor counters. If the opponent places Levi/Prof/Exec on def what would be your counter?

I have her at 7. You don't need quite that much I think though. Probably 5 is enough? Can't say for sure

I’m finding it not as successful against an all R9 fleet. Any footage on that?
The TIE Dagger doesn't go down in one shot, at least with my Iden at R1. I will also say that trying this for the first time today, maybe it was bad RNG, but they swarmed and deleted my TIE/d several times. Will continue testing, of course, and Iden will get more Relics as soon as I unlock Jabba...
R1 Iden was never tested by me, so obviously your mileage may vary. Someone sent me an angry DM because their G10 Iden didn't survive.
I hope it works better as you add relic levels.
@@Xaereth Lots more testing since this. I needed Iden at R3 before it was reasonably consistent. R5 was the "nearly guaranteed" threshold.

Any advice/video for a Executor counter to Levi? I go trip-attacker and try to burn down Bomber, but that is…inconsistent to say the least.

Any reason why you leave the last 2 slots empty? I know one is gonna blow up and be useless but you might still get a reinforcement in or at least scare off the lower value fleet competitors...
I need the other ships elsewhere. Why should I practice with ships I won't have in GAC.
Also, that opens the door for a bad reinforcement coming out when someone attacks me. Best to be in the habit of taking the fleet I want...
Does this offically make Chimaera the second best fleet? They can beat everything, Prof and exec cant beat Levi, so I think it is
If your gac comes down to a fleet holding on defense and you can't put leviathen on defense, which fleet would you want to get you the hold? I'd argue if Chimera isn't in the top 2 choices, i'd say no

im working on iden versio r8 as it will server for tb p4 platoons, and also for those nasty SA r8's fielded. ill post how i do after, but so far with my r7 ive been having trouble.
so... first attempt with. iden r8, fail, second, barely got away with it
now that i remember, bitdinasty was showing something he found odd, and knowing CG it may actually be an unintentional bug protecting their meta
i recorded both attempts btw, ill record a third one vs another SA r8. i can post if needed
Got absolutely decimated. Didn’t kill fighter, defender got stun locked, Scythe got 1 shot
Assume r5+ crew aren’t good enough
I used R5 crew twice this GAC on my alt and won both times. I'd suggest practicing in arena however.
@@Xaereth tie fighter only hit for about 60k, not the 150+ you were getting 🤔

Do the mod sets make any difference?
@grandadmirallozza4247 no, mod sets don't matter at all as long as they are 6E. R5 works, but one time I didn't kill the fighter either. Just had to take it down later.
What about Dagger comp?I found it to be more difficult than Sith Fighter one.

When my Chimera gets it's first turn the call reinforcement is not available and needs another turn. Why is that? I mean it's the same opening moves but I still have another turn before I can call in the Tie Defender.
I'm guessing you have reinforcements that aren't Empire. Maybe because it auto-adds two more ships in arena

@@Xaereth my tie fighter pilot is only relic 5 the rest of the team is same relic that might be what the problem is.
Biggest thing I took away from this video is how trash the Leviathan ultimate is. All the other top meta, 1 use of ultimate and the battle is indescribably in your favor. Here, use ultimate and still lose.
CG’s description of Levi’s ult: “will bring even the strongest fleets crashing down”
In reality: the ult really only helps if you were already ahead on ships, and only provides a slight boost if you are not (as opposed to Executor and Profundity which almost guarantees victory regardless of who was ahead). The enemy capital ship also provides very little to benefit your own fleet (just a weak hit here and there, and specials that barely, if at all, benefit Sith ships) and at that point all your own Levi can do is hit like a wet noodle.
Did CG change something? Did 4 battles and lost all. Never killed Sith fighter with TFP in one. 4 times not. Can’t call that RNG. That fighter is R5 with low mods
why does increase my reinforcement cooldown against my Chimera ???
Do you have non-Empire ships in the lineup? That stops the reinforcement cooldown reduction.
