Wow, I think this is one of the best Street walk videos I have seen. Your captures are great and the editing you do really makes them look special. Can't wait to see more. And yes, the 85 GMII is going to be my next purchase!
Thank you so much. Your kind words make me very happy and give me even more motivation to keep sharing my sessions. You are going to love the lens. What camera are you shooting with ?
@@photorox Street photography is all about capturing a sliver in time that most people never see because they are too busy living their lives (to notice these details). As a photographer, the process continues beyond the camera into the editing process where selection and adjustments enhance that capture. I would love to see how you edit your shots and how you decide which are good and which to skip.
Oh boy, that small diamond and I can see that you have the gray one with the grip. Lovely ! I was tempted till the very last minutes between the second A7R5 and the A7CR. At the end I went for the second A7R5 for those 3 main reason : no autofocus joystick, the card slot (number and type) and the micro hdmi. But...it still in my heart. If I may....place the 35 1.4 GM in your roadmap. It's an amazing lens and with the A7CR it's the perfect combo. I'm following you on IG, can't wait to see your shots.
You described perfectly the whole process. For this session I took 842 photos and to get to the final ~70 it took quite some time. You gave me a very good idea, I'll try to figure out a way to describe everything in a 10 mins video.
Honestly, one of the first street photography videos where I actually really like most, if not all, of the pictures taken. As you said- when you see a photo that's good you just know! Like hitting the perfect shot off the tee in golf 🤘🤘
So many good things about this. It's inspiring and a beautiful production with visuals fit for cinema as you say. I picked up on the heavy blues music and the masculine theme of subjects instantly. It also brought memories of being a kid with my father's Instamatic, snapping pictures on Carnaby Street in 1969 when it was still a must see. You would have loved it for the people. I revisited in 1988 (I live in Canada) and it was GONE. I didn't recognize anything as it had turned to legal offices, some franchise clothing stores, and jewellery shops. I am just dabbling with a 7Artisans 85/1.4 and your compositions give me a better idea of the possibilities, especially @4:00 the two versions of the elder woman being served in the alley.
Thank you very much for your comment, the kind words and most of all the experience that you shared. You are absolutely right, I would have loved to be back in the 1969 to live how London was in that moment, especially for the music ( Beatles, Pink Floyd) The 85mm it’s a lens that, once you get a feel for its character and nuances, rewards you with stunning results and creative possibilities. I’m glad my work could offer some inspiration, and I’d love to see what you create with the 7Artisans 85/1.4!
