While I'm definitely a fan of a lot of their styling(DAMN do I want to build a rallied out Dat510 with a screamer Ford 'Cyclone' 3.7l V6 crammed in), let's not misrepresent what they were then.

To the builder: first off, absolutely amazing work. Now let's get technical. This build appears to be an exercise in thermodynamics. Your efforts to control temperature is astounding. A next level of testing would be to test each system under normal driving, hard driving and then track conditions to see what effect all this plumbing does to these temperatures. Also noting the effective and optimum ranges these systems and fluids need to operate as it is possible to be too cool for some of these lubricants. Then you could manipulate the cooling to optimize the most effective range of operation. Say your diff fluid is never getting up to temp, it will create drag on the rotating assembly in the rear which will rob power and control. One could easily wire up temp sensors for each item to further testing. I also must acknowledge the packaging of everything. Your space management is astounding. It would be a pleasure to see all of your engineering through to auctual results and numbers on paper..

I would trade both of my cars for this one. I love it.
Please teach Vinny how to focus properly by the way!
This is the definition of someone that is insanely passionate about what he does. I love the detail, not going to lie it’s over engineered to the maximum but I do appreciate the immense detail and creativity
The quality of every individual piece on this car is finished to a ridiculously high standard
This guy REALLY knows what he's talking about! Really enjoyed this one!
the other 20% I just make up and run with it hahah learn more everyday, would change 100 things about this with what I've since learned
the engineering that went into this is truly awe inspiring. This guy is incredible. world class.
this is some of the best craftsmanship I have ever seen
Wow! Did I understand correctly, one guy did all the work besides the paint? He must have a very wide skill set to be able to so much different custom work.
Awesome car!!!!
my dad pitched in with the finish bodywork, he has a better hand for it. I weld lol and yes the final spray was done by a specialist. Besides that, yepp. I wear a lot of hats to make this whole dream career thing work out. I learn more by necessity than most I'd say.
This Datsun is A STUNNER!
💪⚡⚡ I SERIOUSLY can't believe this is a "garage build". This has so much thought detail in EVERY part of the build. Big 👍 for the LS SWAP!
Well, I'm in Portland and drive PIR and the Ridge and can't wait to see this car.
You’re in for a treat!
reactor4 I had a busy last year but possibly a ridge trip this summer if possible. For this and the latest build
Simply put, this car is, WOW.
Damn, for something so built, I was expecting it to be much louder. Looks insanely good, so I’ll give it a 9.5.
I think that x-pipe does kill the sound. The right bank is choking the left by the looks of it.
Jackson Murphy I mean... it does have to run on the street and I don’t know the Oregon Disturbance of the Peace Laws off the top of my head but I bet they have something to do with it. 🤔🤔
yer it needs a cam and tune on that LS1 I don't know why they didn't do it
Props to the guys. Super clean and everything has a purpose. Hand crafted piece of art
Truly amazing work!!! Much love and respect!!!
My God, It's cars like this... that make me realize why I love cars. :) Thank you Hoonigans for allowing me to sit here in my home on the east coast of Canada and be able to experience this amazing Car. Cheers.
OBASTO cheers!
THIS IS NOT ENGINERING THIS IS F*CKING ART :D AMAZING JOB
The Z was incredible in person! Those guys did a hell of a job, we're glad that you can appreciate fine machinery.
@@TheHoonigans the dream for me is if they can teach me that dream work :D Kind Regard to Hoonigan Team because without u we would not ever seen that beauty.
This car is a work of mechanical art . .I remember the ist Z on display in a little outlet in our village .. it was orange, and my mates and I thought it was as good as an E-type . .I love this car . .such detail . .bravo to you !!!!
So... Pretty...
Wow. #WhataBuild
Insane build.
This guy is cool as hell. I'm glad he's getting recognized for all the work. This car is so sick.
I love your videos, but for the love of god, slow and smooth your camera pans lmao
This car needs it's own series. Everything is so detailed it's crazy.
