I think these short films BTS made are so amazingly well made. There’s so much to dissect!
Enjoying this journey with you, Roscoe! Yes, he's saying "realm". The titles of the short films are also titles of the tracks in their album "Wings" - ok, glad to see you made the connection. RM mentions Abraxas by name in his opening narration to their 2016 MAMA Awards performance. Also, just because I'm a Nirvana ignoramus, love it when you're pointing out those clues. Isn't the acting marvelous? I'm so proud of the boys.

He told us when he first started that even if he is wrong, he wants to control it and try to work through it himself with no hints. Eventually he will get to the point that he will have to use other resources, but right now he is enjoying the process of trying to make the connections and has asked us to not give hints. 😊

It seems like he doesn't know where the spoken quotations at the start of each short are from. It's too bad he didn't watch the version with full captions added...
Edit: Well, my question was answered. I get not wanting spoilers, but there are things that we knew at the time of release that weren't spoilers - the connection to, "Demian," was one & the album track list was another.
Its so stupid that translation can became "spoilers" for someone. Is he ok?

I was an army when this whole series was coming out, I honestly don't remember what they were about anymore but I love watching you interpret it and I can't wait for the next videos. You still have a long way to go, but will you make a video at the very end where you watch the whole explanation of it? I would die to see it hahaha
I remember trying to figure this all out and just giving up at this point, so I'm so happy you're so excited and invested. I haven't gone back through the B.U. at all, so this entire process is so cool to me. ❤
The sound was full of jumpscares, It was so overwhelming it was hard to watch. Cheers to them for generating something so powerful contrasting sounds

I know he watched all of these many, many months ago but since he’s just now uploading them on TH-cam and I’m seeing them for the first time, I really, really wish that someone would have pointed him in the direction of the videos where all of the text and what they’re saying is translated. Those things were added for a reason (to help tell the story they wanted to tell). The BU is confusing enough. I hate seeing people get into it and not get all the information they’re supposed to from the videos because they didn’t know that there were translations available.
I'm not really into BTS but this era was one of my favorites in kpop in general. The storytelling of the album before it released and it still being a great album to this day. I remember getting the book from the library and watching a ton of theories. This brings me back!

i know this video is really old but why did you think that you were not supposed to know what the korean captions said?
there most usually are fanmade videos with english subs so pls check them out if there are none on the official videos instead of just ignoring the captions or atleast translate them. you're missing out on info otherwise.
He doesn't want spoilers at all, so i guess that's why he didn't look up for captions.

Hi, Roscoe. How are you? I had a free afternoon...and I decided to spend it with you going through the BU. It was immersive, captivating, alluring...the storyline and the breaking down of it. Bit by bit. And the revelations. It's just a mood but much more than that. Realms upon realms. So much fun delving into this with you. Because you really go deep into it, and just sharing as if brainstorming yet, not. It's so inclusive yet exclusive, in every sense of the word. I am late in coming back to you on this as I have been busy. But I remembered this. You might have already released BU#8 by now. I don't know. I'll go look for it. JK in real life painted this painting. It shows up in those short videos about his artistic talent, drawing, other painting. The wings are on the statue in Blood, Sweat & Tears, they are in Standing Next to You. These short films, remember, are WINGS (the album) the dots are on the cover.
All the words Namjoon is reading are from the book Damian by Hermann Hesse, pub 1919. Another sentence is in Blood, Sweat & Tears. Read the book, you'll know the backbone of all of this.

Jk I believe mentions this and he also really painted it himself too. Also the fact each older member is paired with a younger member in the storyline too. So Suga w/ JK, RM w/ V, JHope w/ Jimin and Jin ties everyone together by himself.

Yeah that text that appears are really important and there are translated versions of these so whenever you get the chance I highly suggest you go back before moving on to the next set and see what that text says

So I was wondering if I ever actually finished watching this, before I go to watch what I missed on yesterdays, utub says I have watched all this but...same old story...memory issues 🤡 so either utub is lying or I forgot watching and also forgot to comment in reply to this if/when I did watch it. 💀
So I was skipping around trying to see if anything was familiar enough that you said or did that might jog something I might have intended to say before moving on to the latest video... I wasn't aware of subbed versions at the time, I just watched what was passed to me (these were filmed nearly a year ago).
