Why do the relationships never ever come together for women? It’s always torn apart or won’t work for one reason or another. How about one where there is a happy ending? That means the season would be over ?
I am confused about how the story line is homosexuality ... I would like to know how authentic any of this series is or is it just extreamly exaggerated things that could have happened? My interests R in the Factual History so the Story Lines R OK as long as it is following some type of Documented Events. I mean the draw to the Series for me was how History played out ... Winning Time is also a good Series EXCEPT it is satirical not factual.

It just took me several episodes to realize the margins the Storytelling is created from. Seems to flare in dialog like it is present day too ,., so this Series holds it's own for being original in several ways.
The series is more historically accurate than the movie ever could have been. They actually did their research to include everything they could, while not taking away from any of the story.
