I think I've gotten a comment back from you all at some point (brave). So, there must be someone there looking. Anyways, I had an idea coming up from stuff I've just gotten into learning about, which is the "Mixture of Experts" neural network architecture and was thinking about how it could be applied to generating surfing films that have good inference speeds (part of the purpose of MoE, and better overall results). I don't want to get to technical - I just have my head around it right now from training, and thought - okay, let's say a networks is composed of 8 "experts" - how could we apply that to generating surfing films. Here's what I schemed up - each one of the "experts" for a network will all tied to Pipeline, so the entire MoE (which is composed of these experts) is all Pipeline. But each expert has it's own role. Okay, so how we determine what a good role is, and how do we create them? Just scheming here for a basic model, not too specific for a crazy xzy, but just general. -8 models in total - each one is a fine-tuned Stable Video Diffusion 3 model (once it's out). They're trained on pipeline surfing clips categorized by the following: -- Low Tradewind Days (those are the rare ones so it makes sense to have an expert for this) -- NW swell days (IIRC, that's the good one for Pipe side, correct? so, we definitely need an expert for this) -- Rainy Days - That's unique, we need an expert for this -- General model - anything goes - expert for this - just train it on everything. -- Waves from the pros - the top dogs - when we want to see a great wave, it will light up this expert - train it on all the 10s or just sick freesurf. -- Front facing -- Side facing -- Drone view Each expert gets more activated when recognized by the interpreter of your commands (the large language model). A set of keywords associated with each expert - you configure when creating the MoE, which is easy. So you just tell it what you want, and it actually does a decent job... You could always create multiple MoE models, of course, just for Pipe so that you can have a bunch more experts without having to expand memory further. Just swap in the other MoE model when you want to create stuff more relevant to the experts in that model. You might have a closet full of models. Start thinking it over.
