    Yeah bro I don’t think you need anything more honestly. I have the black 500 and I’m happy with it but I would get the zx4r because it gives you the feeling of a bigger bike but it’s still controllable.

      Yes sir! Exactly my thoughts. Think the zx4 will definitely be a bike I'd aim for when I plan on getting another one. Unless I can snag a very cheap zx6, but I just know I wouldn't be able to ring it out like I could on a zx4.

    the 500 and 600/1000's will steer different. you really push on the bars to steer a 1000/600. this is a unnatural feeling and gets developed, takes abit. the 500 kind of more leans with you, however its more of a lethargic lean but more simple way to ride a motorcycle. once you learn the way a supersport steers they are incredibly agile not just at lower speeds but 100plus.
    However I completely agree with you, I have a 2024 Hayabusa and ride it in a very chilled manner, most times with a passeneger (my girl) because we enjoy cruising, Having a massive motorcycle is nice for two people and rolls down the road with ultra compliance, sometimes I forget it's fast because I just don't care. But ultimately I ride it in the same manner as you on your 500 and if I only roade by myself I would be very happy with a zx4rr or even 500. People try to race me and blow by me all the time and have to say thats the worst part about owning the busa, that and brochure numbers discussions.
    I had a 400cc BMW Scooter prior and miss it dearly sometimes. One, more thing my buddy has a R3 and that bike is fantastic and all anyone really needs.

      well said man. counter steering was a big factor in turning the zx6r. I was so use to my ninja 500 where i'd just lean and it'll come with me that I just assumed it was like that for all bikes. Definitely took me by surprised. I noticed I had to push the handle bar away way turning the zx6r than I ever had to after 7000 miles on my ninja 500 lol. Was a very humbling experience as a beginner. Good point on backpacking - I backpack my fiance on my ninja 500 and I can tell it wasnt meant for it haha not that it cant be done but yknow. Props to you on that busa man. Those things are huge! Ride safe brotha!

      @@Sayo.451 Awesome man, Thanks. Its a dream bike for sure, we rode 2 up on dual sports and scoots and smaller bikes as well, Busa is the only one to feel engineered for 2 people in some aspect. funny I can steer my nearly 600lbs bike sitting up right with a pinky pushing the opposite side bar away, bike falls right over. if you try to lean it over with your hips it just wont go, stays upright and fights you. If you're interested why I will babbble on..
      The designers knew that on the track, you can't physically move your body weight to manipulate the bike fast enough from side to side through corners so they engineered it to make it so the geo of the bike will lean itself over via bar input (pushing away). you push either side of the bar away and the geo of the bike leans it over in the opposite direction using the bikes energy, they do this more so than regular motorcycles, they all do it to some degree but sportbikes where designed to utilize this phenomenon much more. they increased that characteristic for lap times.

    Keep posting ninja 500 videos !! im stuck in the house with snow. just purchased a 2024 ninja 500 and cant get it from dealer till april. have you done the clutch spring mod ? i hear a lot about it, wondering if i should do it asap or learn the bike first.

    • @Sayo.451

      @@Vstar845 I have not done the clutch spring yet! I haven't gotten clutch slips, but honestly I feel like it's because I was shifting terribly when I first started. I don't get clutch slips anymore now. Atleast for now haha. Thanks for the support! I'm in wisconsin and it's steadily cold and snows here n there. I get out there on those random warm days any chance I get! Lol I think once you get the ninja 500, you'll be fine just learning the bike first and then decide if you wanna do the clutch springs. Of course, it's your choice tho. Lmk how it goes!

    im from iowa and i have a ninja 250 and it was very fun and nice to ride for sure, but its slower on the highways and is slow to get up to speed, but after just getting a 600 its a different machine, completely different experience. i still would like riding both but the 600 just has more room to do what you want in my opinion. if u wanna go slow and ride around town its really nice, and if you want to slam the throttle and go 120 in a few seconds you can do that too, and it still feels like its on rails riding it around turns

    • @Sayo.451
      @Sayo.451  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Dudeon380 when I test rode the zx6... that machine was buttery smooth! Suspension was great.. atleast in my beginner pov lol. Even though I botched the turns and curves, it felt sooo smooth. I will say the ninja 500s starts casually climbing speed after 90ish mph. When I do top out my ninja 500.. feels hella fast, but I watch videos of 600cc bikes and they literally skip 0-130mph in no time lol

    • @Dudeon380
      @Dudeon380 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ exactly, I’ll be revving out my 250 to get to 70 on the highway and on the 600 if I’m not looking at my speed I’ll be going 15 over thinking I havnt moved the throttle at all

      I thought I wanted more, got an MT-09. Found out you really can’t push it unless you enjoy being in jail territory speeds. Turns out the sweet spot for me was 50-90HP. Enough to be fun, not crazy enough to get me into too much trouble. lol So bikes like the MT-07, cb650R, gsx8s or sv650 are the type of bikes I really enjoy the most. Plus I just enjoy the acceleration, not high speeds.
