I felt like Alien Isolation the AI was oversold. Maybe it was just my experience but I would always hide under tables and the alien almost never checked under the tables for me when it was sold that it will more frequently check your preferred hiding places. And there were a few other things that I read it should do and it didn't really. I felt like it wasn't as adaptive as the devs claimed it to be. Still scared me and was a great game but the alien AI didn't live up to what I was expecting from what I had heard.
Right? I was playing it like last week and I stopped and made a break up to now because... I don't get the hype at all.. I mean the beginning for me was soooo long and then I finally met the alien, kept playing for like a few days and... Thebai seems to do nothing... Alien straight up just camps many times, runs around and speeds from a to b AI seems to to nothing etc ... I mostly feel frustrated because for no reason alien seems to know where I am or just "coincidentally" camps where I need to go .. so I got so frustrated I stopped 😅
This is really the first game where i actually enjoy and happily play the killer... I mean all the possibilitys you have.. the mindgames... Only with Sissy.. i mean you can hide in lockers and wait for the people etc ... How cool is that?
