- Welcome to the daily noise. This is a very typical morning at our house. It's seldom ever calm around here. Jess decided to tell me ' noneya ' when I asked her What's Going On Today so I did the same back to her. And who is Benny? Watch to find out.

Jess is 34-years-old, autistic, and blind. Her favorite topics of conversation include getting a new dog, her friend Keely, her Aunt Sue, and cousin Donna. Jess collects CD’s of children’s music, cards, coloring books, and has a small collection of used up disposable cameras that she refuses to get developed. Favorite health foods include chicken and rice, chicken tenders, chicken nuggets, chicken biscuits, pepperoni pizza, and hash brown potatoes. Jess has naturally curly hair that she would rather not ever comb, brush, or cut.
Jessica’s multiple disabilities stem from brain damage that occurred in-utero, and from hydrocephalus. In addition to autism and blindness, Jess also has minor fine motor and gross motor deficits. Hannah is Jessica's sister, and Marlow is Jessica's paid support staff (and Hannah's best friend.)

I’ve seen about 100 videos and idk why I especially liked this one. Zoey n Darell are doing so good with the commands from bad daddy and Abby is just so sweet I wanted to pet her too! Marlow cracks me up as usual and I’ve decided to make sausage eggs this weekend.. Jess working through the news of Saturday’s plans then perking up made me smile. Y’all are amazing and I’m so thankful I ran across your page last year! God Bless!

I hate seeing Jess get anxious about things ,but I love how you all keep reassuring her so she feels better. Congrats Marlow on your pooch can’t wait to see him!!! Jess got a bit stressed-out hearing that Marlow was gonna be puppy sitting Daryl, she started to touch the sore on her hand and probably would’ve done some damage had mom not stopped her but it was clear she wasn’t happy about Marlow taking Daryl out. The fur-babies are so cute and pretty well mannered for the most part, dogs bark especially when they see strangers or other dogs, they’re little security guards, in my opinion. Prayers everything goes well with Daryl’s surgery tomorrow, big hugs and belly rubs. Much love to all, stay safe, sane and blessed♥️💫✨👼🏻✨💫♥️🐾🐾🐾🐾
When I get extremely stressed or extremely bored I pick my scabs, pimples, dry skin!! You name it! I hate having this habit!. When I was younger I would peel the bottom of my feet! To the point of open wounds 🤷♀️ I have no clue why I did that??? I guess it's just a picking problem????

Awe Abbie, breaking my heart. Hey check into those little grippy socks they have for puppy's. It helps them not slip down steps or wooden/ceramic floors. Arthritis sucks I know I have it and I seeit in Abby. Love her so much!!!

Really interesting video, I’m a clinical therapist working with special needs kids and the look on Jessica’s face as she considers this situation is fascinating.

Dance It Out. I loved having those days with my kids and grandkids. My new granddaughter is in the hospital with RSV. Hers lungs aren't completely developed since they had to take her early. She is oxygen. They tried weaning her off today. She did good for about 30 mins. Last week she was in hospital for 48 hours for jaundice.
I wish her a quick recovery. Hannah had RSV when she was about 10 months old. She was in the hospital for 4 days.
@@AutisticInterpretations it is so scary because the Berkeley was born a month early. She is only 2 weeks old. Tay sent me a video of Berk trying to breathe and she is struggling even with oxygen on.
When Zoe barks out the window, my dog Sassy runs to the window and barks. lol!

Aww. This breaks my heart to see Jess so upset. You can just see it in her eyes. Glad it hear that every thing went good with Nonnie. It sure is nice of good Daddy to come & take all the dogs for walks. Maybe on Saturday when Marlow has Daryl Jess can have her water day to keep her mind off of him being gone. Hope your day gets better Jess.

I’m sure you have tried this but would it help Jess’s anxiety if you didn’t tell her about things like this until right when it is about to happen? Then she won’t worry for days leading up.

I wonder what she was trying to process while picking her leg. Looks like she needs a little extra anxiety medicine this morning an HD maybe the morning of. Is Nick Marlow's Boyfriend? First time we have heard about Nick an be his dog... BTW, GoodDaddy has gotten Zoe to listen to commands. That's so great!!!

As always, I love Jess’s videos. Some of my favorites are of you ladies hanging out in your kitchen. Jess, Hannah and Marlow are the absolute best and I enjoy their humor. I am also a nurse and my boys are grown. I don’t have an autistic child but I’ve learned so much from each one of you. I’m sure it’s not always easy, but thank you for sharing your family with us. I have a 10 year old white schnauzer whose name is Abigail.
I notice when Jess thinks she might get into trouble when someone asks her a question about something she has done , she replies "I don't know."
Jess has difficulties articulating her thoughts and emotions
@@allysonbruce554 I am aware of that but not with everything. Watch and you will see what I mean. You will notice how she say I don't know when she does know. If she is told to think about it or told that she knows, she will reply correctly. I understand where she's coming from, like an insecurity thing.

There has been at least one video in the recent past explaining this and I believe Val intends to make another one so she can answer questions . That is her primary goal and while I know for a fact she doesn’t mind answering any questions anyone has, I just encourage everyone to remember that we see mere moments out of some very long days, each with its own set of complex unique challenges, and do our best to try to think how we’d feel if we’re Val, and keep our comments encouraging and supportive , as I know they are intended 99% of the time. I can’t imagine the difficult balance it requires of this entire family to keep heads above water on any given day, can’t begin to understand how many things have to be considered and options weighed to make even the smallest decision , one that is the best for the family and for each individual. I don’t care to admit that I would never be capable of what they do let alone doing it and taking the necessary steps to educate others. They are amazing
