I’m so jealous I was born at the end of the decade. I was born in 1989 , I missed all this the music , the fashion , the dancing the hair 😬, I’m discovering more and more lately but it would have been quite something to have lived through those times.
I was born in the 90s, but I’ve always admired the 80s. Even now, there’s a part of me that feels like the party’s over, leaving an emptiness behind. It’s a bit like when a famous artist passes away, and you realize you’ll never be able to see them live again-so you end up watching their performances on TH-cam later. There’s a sadness in that. I wanted to experience it firsthand.

It's from You Can Dance but was only released until quite recently in a version that crossfaded into Holiday. The single was released in select areas excluding America and Europe. Late last year it was released as a single edit on a new version of You Can Dance. Only digitally however.

I think it was
It was not released as a single in the US, but did get some radio airplay.
I agree. The same duo who did Holiday came up with this. It was used in Japan for some electronic commercial and reached #1 on their hot hits chart.
@@Gia_Marie Yes, the song was released in Japan & hit #3 on the "international singles" chart in 1988.
It wasn't released as a top 40 radio single, just a dance club cut. It should've been a top 40 single though. Would've been big.
