The Michigan fans were by far the most cordial fans I've ever encountered. They cheered loud for their team but were gracious hosts throughout.
Michigan fan here- mad respect to Thompson. He got nailed several times. Can’t get mad when you annihilate the quarterback but he makes gutsy throws. This was one of the last great non-BCS, non-NCAA title bowl games- lots of NFL players on the field that day.
As a gamecock fan I agree. So much talent on this field and it was a absolutely great game with so many lead changes. It was a classic bowl game. Win or loose this was a awesome. Much respect
