She actually invested money from the song into a black neighborhood in Nashville in honor of Whitney. I didn't know the owners of Silver Dollar City actually contacted Dolly about purchasing the park. I have seen the footage from the Barbara Walter's interview you were talking about. We were also there on passholder preview day. We got in line for big bear right at 10am and stood there for 30 mins and the ride went down 😢. We went on to ride thunderhead, firechaser express and a couple others. Looks like you had a good time as we always do at Dollywood. Such a wonderful family amusement park for my son and us. Enjoyed your video. Also, we were able to see Dolly in the parade. Second time we’ve been able to see her there in the 3 years we’ve been passholders.

Omg the slidewinder...yess i loved it.. but wheni went it was with a date and some friends.. they made you step on a big square scale, for each person on one 'log'..as a teen, i was terrifed..lol ..love wild eagle at night..its awesome.
Oh no. I remember when we rode the train a few years ago. The conductor made several announcements about getting embers in your eye. It freaked me out a bit. I always were sunglasses while riding the train at Dollywood. Do you remember how they removed the ember from her eye?

I rode lightning rod 2 yrs ago when it launched you up the hill...thats a rough ride when youre almost 50!
