Actually there are 60 games in lichess database alone where Bxb1 was played in this position. Also not just lower rated players, there are games of players above 2000 who fell into the trap. 2925 is the highest rated player who fell into the trap according to lichess database.
I mean it feels like a natural move, your basically trying to get the rook off the semi open a file bc if white gets dominant control over it, theyll have a better postion
It seems like a natural move but I would have taken the knight first and then exchange queen, exchange queen first seems like a bad move for me, I'm not entirely sure *Edit*: just check on lichess, seems like my move and the continuation make it worse... I see it as an unbalanced game
Guys, black is moving the bishop to remove it from the treat of a rook! It is simultaneously attacking the pawm with the bishop because the player imagined the opponent would just grab a free pawn. It is a blunder, but it is a perfectly "natural move" blunder, when something looks ok, but actually causes massive problems
People do not understand the meaning of the word "Trap". U have to make a mistake for a trap to work. U can't just say "Oh why did they play that, they shud have played this".
@@FOURSQUARESCHESS why? Becouse he saves the bishop and also attacks the pawn. Black may think i can save the bishop and take this pawn easily so he moves it there
this is the video showing how to lose a game and I am expert at it
Tell my one person who would take this knight with a a bishop

Kd7 can avoid pawn promotion
White can capture the knight and promote
The amt of people not knowing that pawns can capture diagonally gives an insignt into the skill level of this channels audience...

King can stop promotion
You can eat the horse.
@@justamuart i’ll take that out of context, thank you
It's inevitable
Just take the Knight my guy
Lol😂

True
Me, a Slav player: no
Bishop to C2 and white caught with pants down not taking that bishop with the rook
pawn can stop promotion? meanwhile black just need to take pawn c4 by pawn cause no one deff it. sacrifise ur soul too if u need
1. Who is going to trtade an active bishop for that knight?
2. The pawn is stoppable by the king
1. That's baltic defense theory and people actually play that
2. Just take knight
Why king didnt move to pawn instead of knight
If the king move to pawn the knight will be capture by the pawn and also promoted to queen. So it's the best to save it.
Bf6 was also played to not promote queen
Is it me or was the pawn promotion stoppable by moving the king to take it when it turned to a queen
Why would Black Bishop want to exchange the White knight anyway?
King d7 to prevent the pawn from queening?
And you meet the new Queen by pawn taking the knight at b8.
King to D7 to stop the pawn
Why does knight not eat it?
What is the title of music?
Bishop f5 it easy
The king could have stopped the promotion smh
How? Kd7 then cxb8

Is this game played by IQ level 70 and below??😂😂
It's a nice trap
Couldn't you just inch the king towards the pawn and be winning for black?
the pawn would capture the knight. not only is that +3, but you fork the rook and the king. so its +7, and stopping black from castling.
Anything other than Nc6 b4 pawn promotion wouldve been checkmate
Kd7?
You can still move the Bishop and stop the promotion
The pawn can take the knight and promote at the same time
What is the bgm
Waw
At Bf5
Why bishop with knight!!!! What if black didnt do that mistake??
Than this trap doesn't work the game will continue normally

what if black played kd7
You take the knight, duh
Stopping the Pawn promotion is not impossible
If King to D8, the pawn can promote by taking the knight
it's impossible to stop it
