KU Athletics Details Plans for Football Stadium Renovations and New Lawrence District

The University of Kansas and Kansas Athletics jointly announced on Tuesday morning a new timeline for stadium renovations and circulated renderings for the 11th and Mississippi “Gateway” project.
Most notably, the school’s news release on the project promises “a transformed David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium to open in August 2025,” with construction to start this December, after the end of the 2023 college football regular season.

everyone always have to build a "district" these days when building stadiums... i'd rather go to Mass. street before or after the game.

Next year the stadium will be jammed because it is new and everyone wants to experience it. But unless the team improves, it wont be because of them.
