How does GAMEFREAK make their Pokémon Sprites?

Gamefreak's sprite colors don't actually go warmer in every sprite, they often go colder for some reason.

I kind've mix my style, but you're not wrong at all. Gen 3 goes warmer rather than colder which gives a comfortable look to the mons, but gen 4 goes way colder. Charizard sprite in gen 4 is almost purple on the outlines and shadows, while gen 3 it's a nice red. So I kind've mix between them, use gen 4 size, and gen 3 colors
