@@chucke756 Yes I have a ton of clients coming up from Florida because of that same reason. NC has a lot of the right things, and none of the bad (no tornadoes). If you ever want to give NC a look, you'll be surprised how much you love it Thank you for watching!
I recently saw where the CATS Red Line project is moving forward. It’d be good to learn more about that, since it seems like it would be a great alternative for commuting between Mooresville and Uptown Charlotte when it’s operational.
Why is all the chatter only focused on Mooresville and not Huntersville, Cornelius, etc. People are skipping over those closer towns and going straight to Mooresville?
Thank you for pointing that out. This video is specifically about Mooresville. Based on recent studies it is the fastest growing town in NC. BUT I'm a huge fan of Huntersville (my favorite) as well as Cornelius. I have done some other videos on these towns, but perhaps time to circle back around and do more :) So much to share on these towns! Thank you for watching!
Southern hospitality is lacking in Mooresville and the entire Charlotte area. This is because most of the people in the Charlotte area are not from the south. If you’re from New York, Michigan, or Ohio, there’s a great chance you’ll feel right at home.
I will say as a former NYer (I'll never go back) It is night and day to NY where no one makes eye contact lol. Most of my clients who visit tell me they notice the positivity and kindness of the south throughout the Charlotte region (which is nice to hear). I'd guess if you are a local it may not be the same as it once was. THANKS FOR WATCHING!
I think it all depends on your experience. From a strictly academic standpoint, based on stats from GreatSchools.org, the school is an 8/10 on Test Scores compared to other NC schools and 9/10 on College readiness scales. While there are better schools, this one isn't bad.
Con: There are higher than average rates of cancer in this town, and a cancer cluster. Con: Much of the town was built on coal ash, and is riddled with pollution and unsafe levels of radiation.
I have looked at studies on this and sadly they haven't finalized any study to prove it is Coal ash. The interesting part is there is coal ash in multiple areas throught the region (including under i-77) and yet it's parts of Mooresville that have higher rates of various cancers. I have to wonder if it is well water. Just me wondering on that
WOW! She really played down the horrific traffic problem! Many other routes to take? Remember there is a polluted lake so your routes are pretty much limited to two. Forget driving downtown Mooresville, you can walk faster. Maybe the million apartment buildings going up is driving down the property values, forgot to mention that! Another political payoff video.
haha I don't know anyone in politics anywhere in our region, so I'm not sure what that means. I'm just expressing my own experiences and what I see. It's a great theory though ;) I believe people go other places than just Charlotte, so yes, there are a variety of routes. The good thing is with the growth in the area, it is providing more in taxes and spending on tourism which is allowing for more opportunities for road expansions and other opportunities :)

@@livingincharlottenorthcarolina Thanks NC is definitely better than FL right now!! 😊

I'm very curious as well! I'm not sure what the final plans are yet but curious to learn more. Whenever I learn more I'll do a video!
Also if you have 3 or more people in your car you can qualify for free toll lane travel with the HOV pass
Yes! I forgot about that! And if you drive your motorcycle it is at no charge

Are you kidding?!! LNHS is NOT the best public High School in Mooresville.🤦♀
I have clients that send there kiddos there and love it. What would your ideal high school?
Lake Norman High is NOT a good highschool 😂
