Hello... I am new to guitar and I was fascinated by fingerstyle playing... So I started with fingerstyle directly(the progress is very slow though😅)... I tried thumb picks and thought playing with my fingers is better(so that I can feel the guitar)....
And your beginner fingerstyle video is the one I started with...
Thank you for your awesome content man... ❤
    Have a great day 😊

Adam Rafferty gave up on the thumb pick entirely, he said it gives a much more intimate and accurate interaction with the guitar. He said it completely cured his stage fright because he was more confident of hitting the strings correctly with his thumb.

      @@WahrheitMachtFrei. yeah..
That's the reason to choose fingers over fingerpicks... Gives the feel and confidence to hit the notes correctly 👍🏻

@@LickNRiffHey man, I paid a fair bit of money for your break your boundary lessons on Kartra. The account is now suspended. I'm from India, and it was really expensive for me. Please help Assaf.

i'm personnaly team softness of the finger skin, but i also can't really solo with my finger, for me it's a bit strange to do that, so yeah in that context i like to use a pick, if i just do some solo or melody :)

Check out felt or leather picks.
It’s a sound sort of between finger and normal pick.

I know it's personal choice, but I am WAY more accurate without thumb picks and finger picks, volume be damned! Attack is a little different, a little softer, but I can play the right notes. I can feel what's happening with dynamics, and control them better. There's a lot to be said for playing au naturel...
