X = p + x3v sure does look like y = n + mx! Does that mean there's also polynomial-ish systems of vectors, or is it just a superficial similarity.
You are absolutely correct to draw your first conclusion and the comparison to y=n+mx. We will use vectors to represent polynomials later in the course, so stay tuned.
X = p +x3v makes me wonder about going backward from the equation to show solutions.
