At 4:54- Dave hits his "call disconnect" button out of frustration with a male caller he has called "hon" multiple times. Usually a SINGLE "hon" is a precursor to an epic rant! !!!

I don't blame Dave for being short with this guy. You call a national radio show for help, lay out your problem and stop making excuses. If this guy started the call " My ex ran up my credit cards, what can I do about it" the call would have gone in a different direction. Instead he starts the call "I'm in debt but its someone else's fault". And the excuses come pouring out. Also how can you be a healthy single adult in America and make only 45 grand ? Dave was absolutely right. Tell this guy to get off is behind, start making some coin and pay his debt.

    DAVID RAMSEY.
Become trauma informed please. Someone who has been in an abusive relationship is going to be so overstimulated that things that feel simple to a healed person would feel impossible for someone like them. They are a victim. They need help to get out of that role and you need to be KIND

With Donald Trump moving back in the White House and with both sides of Congress leaning red, it's expected that the rules will change with the PSLF to grant a larger benefit to the taxpayer, not the borrower.

Why was the credit card accessible to her? I would have kept my checkbook, credit card(s), Social Security card, etc., under lock and key from a fiancée, and even from the wife, and the wife should keep her stuff from me.

People in the business of giving financial advice often admonish little folks who say they don't have extra money to invest into a mutual fund after expenses. Why not, they say, take all of your pocket change at the end of each day and use that to invest. Please oh knowledgeable one, explain to us the "mechanics" of how that would work.....and do it in "baby step" fashion. Thank you.

The dude is the victim of theft, I don’t think that makes him a sucker, unless his ex was obviously deranged.
