I like this approach to learning hacks sack: just practice a small maneuver over and over. OK to stop and catch the bag while you are learning of kicking it until things get out of control.
What kind of shoes do you wear? I've seen articles from 10 years ago where people said the Rod Laver was best but now a lot of people say the new Rod Lavers suck compared to what they were 10 yrs ago

I just noticed that I plan the moved I do then try and do them, this is bad try and adapt, i just in case anyone else is having trouble check and see if your planning your moves before you start because that can be a problem
It does, but I find it gives me more control. Players from a Soccer/Football background often have a nice 'flick' toe kick. I always found it chaotic for my style. Most top players will flick, for the reason you stated. Great observation!
Can playing barefoot work? I played this game quite a lot many years ago but with shoes. Wasn't very good. I do not wear shoes at all. Can this game still be perfected shodless?

Okay I've watched several hacky sack for beginners videos and this was actually the most useful of them all!

Staily is a good company for hacky sacks on Amazon they have a 6 hacky sack bundle for less then 30$ which is around 50$ of hacky sacks worth
Played at school a bit. Got my first two hacks at zumiez today. Got 8 in a row. It’s quite fun.
