I’m an electrician and you did a fantastic job. Initial hand backfill over conduit, burial tape etc. Awesome. By the way:, they do make reducing washers for your 2” pvc ta fitting to enter junction box.

Great narration. I received my LT15 wide electric in October 2019. Still sitting on a concrete pad unused. Got to get that electricity put back there. Thanks for sharing this.

Definitely considering an electric saw mill (if I ever get a mill) for the reason you gave, and more, they are quieter (easier on the ears) and if you have solar or wind the cost to run them is very low. The biggest reason was that you don't have another engine to keep running and maintained, and keep gas or diesel in. Flip a switch and it's running.

I also have a scythe hanging in my shed if you need to borrow it!

Thanks for sharing. August 2022 lead times quoted as 48 weeks for LT15.
    Considering electric LX55 or LT15.

Have you done any cost analysis just out of curiosity to see what the electrical consumption has been for sawing a log, or maybe break it down to the bd ft?

Is the electric motor significantly quieter than the gas version? Thanks for the video!

Yes. And a little different workflow, for the better, because you don't need to keep an engine running non-stop. Cheers!

What is the height of the mill (so the electric boom clears the ceiling of a pole barn)?
