I loved watching you do this page and my cat enjoyed the music you selected for it. She zoned out until she fell asleep next to me while I played your video. Thank you for sharing. Love all your techniques. You really seem to enjoy yourself! :)
Waouh ! I love the richness and deepness of the background. As for your focal point, it's stunning how you use simple objects like buttons and ribbon to turn it into something magic! I looove it!
I can see I am going to have to give the clear gesso another go. I just despise the gritty feel of it compared to ‘normal’ gesso... even when I paint over it I can still feel it. Maybe I haven’t been painting over it enough 😂. I love love love all of the layers underneath the gesso, I bet you can see a lot more of them in real life. Thanks again for all of your fantastic and inspirational videos.
Also, thanks for showing how our mixed media supplies work on a different substrate other than paper. This is pretty important to keep in mind when watching this process.
Thanks for all the good ideas. I was thinking of making a journal cover from canvas and I see the secret is in layer after layer, after layer. This is a wonderful tutorial!!!! TFS
Thanks to remind me to have fun while I'm doing my art. Your techniques are wonderful and I learn a lot. Plus the buttons details…FANTASTIC!!! 💖buttons. Take care
I love all your stencils but that one you first used with the circles and the scraper edge is top.. I love how it made the lines on the page next to the spine of the book too..
I just love this...the buttons and seam binding ribbon just were the perfect added embellishments! Thank you for making these amazing journal shares and for helping me find my creativity again :) I found your channel a week or so ago and am so enjoying watching you create! I had to get this journal and can't wait to create in it when it comes next week.
That's nice you can use the distress oxide pigments without water.. I haven't seen them used without it.. the water is what oxidises the pigments and ink and the more water you use the more you get.. I love everything you did here great work
Miss Bella you are amazing absolutely love this one. Love the colors the texture and all the little embellishments too I am definitely going to have to give this a try. Thanks again for the inspiration. Also love that you use tools that we all have like tape center for circles, credit card and that wonderful bubble wrap. Great video.
I couldn't understand why you put so much colour on & then covered it with white but as you said the colour still peeps thru & in the end it turned out a stunning piece of art
Such a great page, Tfs. I just purchased this journal n getting some ideas. What's the other side of page look like? Are you able to alter it also after doing one side? Curious as to how the mix media goes through or not. 🤔😎
i don't understand it so good first you add the colours and then you all cover it up with white gesso just a waste on all the paint i think but i like the ways you add it on the canvas. Just too much white for me
I know this is an older video, but I find your videos, old & new to be so inspirational. Please keep doing what you do!
Thank you so much, that means a lot! ♥
Absolutely beautiful..love all the colors, then white gesso..👍👍👍👍👍👍🌷🌷
I enjoy all of your videos..how you take a blank page, make it come alive..beautiful..👍👍🌞🌞🤗🤗
I really don’t get the lack of attention this got how amazing!
Wow! This was fantastic. If it was me adding the gesso i would have spoilt the page right in the beginning!! 😂😂😂😂
